Not the best picture quality, but here is one more pic. 42mm SG Sport. My wrist is 170mm

Here is my 38 mm SS BCB ... ordered May 1 and arrived today, May 5. I had the 42 SG but it started feeling too big and there was no way to dress it up. I wanted to down size but would have to send mine back and go for perhaps weeks without a watch. Then I saw this thread and ordered and received it in plenty of time to return the 42. https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1876574/

This size is soooo much better for me. And after using the 42 for almost two weeks, I find the font, etc. to be just about the same. I have no problem seeing anything at all and I'm a senior citizen (!!!).

I have the Milanese Loop and white sport band on order to give me some variety. I love the AW and love it even more having the right size for me.

My wrist is 154 mm, by the way (I'm a woman).

I heard that Apple has a band exchange. That one is so expensive, of course, because of the band. I wonder if the band exchange allows us to step down to a less expensive band and get a refund on the difference? If that were the case, that space black version could be do-able!

If this becomes a possibility or of Apple sells the black SS with just a black sports band, I would do it in a heartbeat and sell my SGS. I'd want 3rd party bands over the Apple ones anyway.
I don't want a silver colored watch because it doesn't go as well with gold jewelry. Black (and even space gray) is more versatile from a color perspective, IMO
In the meanwhile, I will dress up my SGS with different bands. Can't wait to get a band with gold accents for it.

My 38mm SS with white sport band and classic buckle.

My 38mm SS with WSB arrived today and really love it. Got the Sport on release day, but SS definitely feels more premium.

Very interesting post.
Do you think if you were a man, the size would have been ok with your wrist? (strange question )
Did you notice a battery difference in the 42?

Did you test the 42mm too?

Yes, tried both sizes on in store whilst I was waiting for delivery and convinced myself that I needed the 42mm. So was gutted as I'd ordered the 38's. Now I've lived with the 38mm for a week, I've decided it's the perfect size. Really pleased with it. My wrists are 180mm to, so average sized...

I just received my 38MM SS Classic B today. Ordered on 5/2. This watch is beautiful and it feels high quality overall so happy. My wrist size is 175 so I could do either fine I guess but I do not want a "smart-watch" look instead I went with the 38mm for a more "traditional" and classic appearance.

I really looking forward a sport band(for workout) and a Milanese loop band (for special events/meetings) lol. :)
