My 38mm SS with WSB arrived today and really love it. Got the Sport on release day, but SS definitely feels more premium.

I actually really like the white sports band here. Sometimes it looks questionable, but you make it look good. It must just be an outfit piece.

My order went through on the 10th at 3:05AM EST. So about 5 minutes after they went on sale. I was finally billed last Thursday and missed the delivery on Friday, so I had to wait until Monday to get my hands on it.:)

Well that does not bode well for me... I didn't order until the 24th and I was trying to get a feel for what their progress was on these orders, but 5 minutes into preorders seems to be not much progress at all. Ugh, guess I'm in for the long wait.

Sorry man. The Space Gray definitely seems to not be in plentiful supply just yet. I assure you it will be worth the wait. Much better looking than the silver IMHO!

I got 99 problems, but the smartwatch ain't one

Just got mine today even though I didn't order until April 16 and had a June shipping estimate! Loving the WSB so far.

If this becomes a possibility or of Apple sells the black SS with just a black sports band, I would do it in a heartbeat and sell my SGS. I'd want 3rd party bands over the Apple ones anyway.
I don't want a silver colored watch because it doesn't go as well with gold jewelry. Black (and even space gray) is more versatile from a color perspective, IMO
In the meanwhile, I will dress up my SGS with different bands. Can't wait to get a band with gold accents for it.

I had the same issue over the watch being silver and I wear mostly gold jewelry. I ended up buying a Chan Luu wrap bracelet that has tiny gold and silver beads on leather. I thought I'd wear it on my watch hand but it was a bit too much, I think. I'll wear it on my other hand and it really seems to pull together the gold watch with my gold earrings, etc.

I had thought that the black would be a neutral but it just didn't look enough like jewelry. I personally think the black SS will be the same way. I think the SS watch and a band with a little gold in it would be perfect.

Very interesting post.
Do you think if you were a man, the size would have been ok with your wrist? (strange question )
Did you notice a battery difference in the 42?

That's hard to say for sure, Mapple86. I think the wrist is just one part of the equation although the most important one. I think overall body height, size of hands and arm all play in to making the watch look in proportion.

I have always thought I'd get the 42 and have to admit that when I went to try the watches on, the 38 immediately just looked "right" to me and to the Apple rep. I had already ordered the 42 so wanted to give it a try.

Yea I know it will be but I'm kicking myself for not ordering on preorder day. I wasn't even sure I wanted one until launch day when all these people started posting their pictures and then I caved. Won't miss a preorder again though, I learned my lesson. I've been there for all the iPhone ones, don't know what got into me with this one. I'll be sitting here refreshing my order status page for another 20 days or so lol, so I hope it's worth the wait!

I forgot to answer your question about the battery. I just got the watch today so I can't say for sure, although right now after 6 hours of use, it is at 61% and I forgot to look to see how full it was when I got the watch.

Remove that and If you really dead set on a screen protector get a zagg or armorsuit, is not glass but they cover the entire watch screen not just the lit part

I preferred tempered glass and it would be nice if there were curved ones available. The other one turned out better. I don't mind it. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1430868561.387231.jpg

Got my 38mm SS w/ classic buckle today. I had the 42 Sport ordered with a June delivery but decided on Sunday to give this one a try. So far I'm really liking this one and think I'm just going to cancel the other one.

It finally made it to the house after a little bit of confusion on the part of UPS and I still have a week left before I can actually put my hands on it.

I think it's too small - 38mm is for a women or super tiny wrist men. I learned this the hard way.

I just received my 38MM SS Classic B today. Ordered on 5/2. This watch is beautiful and it feels high quality overall so happy. My wrist size is 175 so I could do either fine I guess but I do not want a "smart-watch" look instead I went with the 38mm for a more "traditional" and classic appearance.

I really looking forward a sport band(for workout) and a Milanese loop band (for special events/meetings) lol. :)

It looks great on you! I got the same one today, too. It's really a beautiful watch! LOL ... just noticed ... I have a sport band and ML on order, too!
