Your wrist doesnt look that small. I think they are at least 170mm?

You might be right about the 170mm. I couldn't figure out how to measure my wrist in mm's. Lol, not that I tried that hard. I used the "actual case size" feature in the Apple Store web site on my iPhone to do my determination. However, after I got my watch that seems to be a little off.

I decided on the 38mm for 2 reasons. 1) I didn't want a big watch, not the the 42 is a real big watch. And 2) when I look at my watches from straight on I like to see a good portion of the strap, it's part of the beauty of it IMHO. The 42 would not have shown as much of the strap as I would have liked.

When it's all said and done, it's a matter of personal preference. These people who ridicule others for the size they purchased should be asshamed. Because 1) it's just to hard to judge by these pictures and 2) again, it's personal preference.

So my advice is, make yourself happy not others.

I got the 38 ss Classic. Still considering the 42. What you guys think? It is actually really small in person in the picture it looks fine lol.

On another note; the day I got my 38mm and put it on I thought it looked a little small on me. We had a family gathering that evening with about 10 people, none of which know anything about the Apple Watch. So I asked them all if it looked too big or too small on me. Most gave me a puzzled look and ALL said it looked like a "normal" watch.

both models
Blending the embedded screen with the black bezel should be priority number one for Apple when it comes to design improvements for future generation Watches. It looks great in low light because the OLED screen allows for 100% true blacks (no backlight illumination), but in daylight when you can catch a glimpse of the embedded display...eww.

I read every page of this thread and I've noticed a pattern with 38mm watches.

People's indecisiveness is off the charts!

Lol, no truer words have ever been spoken! #

For me it's a love hate relationship, I love the screen size of the 42, I hate the appearance of it on my wrist!

Hot wrist.

42mm SS Classic...

Wow. It looks really good in your wrist. Do you know your wrist circumference?.

First time I feel like going for your choice of watch instead of the SS space black.

I am having some level of jealousy here. Because... you know... I am still waiting for mine.

170mm.. so I could have gone 38 or 42.. I'm glad I went 42.

Picked up a 38mm SG BSB yesterday. I have a 42mm on order and I'm trying to decide which one to keep. Do you think the 38 looks too small?
