So from the first photo ou find the 42mm better?

I only have this photo, but it shows a bit more distance and "body":

Definitely 42;)

On the other hand ... If I am looking at the old magnified photos with 38 ... hmm .. I say it's a hard choice:) But my vote is for 42.

I decided after trying on both sizes at the Apple Store but I would go for the 38 mm. I even asked the clerk if I could do some push-ups to test out both sizes and the 42 mm ended up being too big for the workouts I do. The reason I wanted the watch was mostly for the fitness aspect of it.

I'm happy with my purchase.

The 38mm looks better to me clearly. For a simple reason: you can see more of the band as opposed to a big black screen stuck on to your wrist.

Basically, if you want to make a tech statement, the 42 is better for you.

If you want to make a fashion statement, the 38 is better in my opinion.

I'm curious - without looking at any of my prior posts - can anyone guess which watch size this is from the just the pic? For the record my wrist size is 175mm.

Would be interesting to see how people perceive it with all this sizing talk going on.

For anyone that cares or is curious...it's a 42mm. All goes to show that angle and context/perspective is everything with these wrist pics.

Gosh, sorry to see so much angst on which size to get! I was lucky that I realized the 42 was too big, got the 38 and it is perfect. But I used the 42 for almost two weeks. I was concerned that the 38 would not be as easy to read, etc.

Actually, I am finding the 38 to be easier and more pleasant to look at/read. I am a senior citizen and some small print is hard for me to read but I have no problem at all with the 38. Maybe because of its more compact size .. not sure what it is but it is just easier to read! (I am a woman, BTW.)

I do think you need to consider your whole body and not just your wrist, if you are going for the best proportion.

Good luck, everyone. I hope you find your perfect, beloved watch!! I love mine so much I could kiss it!! LOL!!!

Guess what size my watch?

I'll say 38?

I really like the white case on your watch, looks very nice.

But, since everyone has no problem throwing their opinions out there, I'll add mine;

The white case with the white band looks great, the screen protector looks awful. It's the sapphire screen, you don't need that screen protector. However, if you feel you need one get the ArmorSuite, it covers the whole screen and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb like this one. Again, just my opinion.
