For 185mm the with of your wrist looks looks small.
I know that in photos the watch looks bigger.
As I can wear 42 with my 150mm wrist I think it will be ok for you. M wrists are 50mm with. And yours?

----------

Keep in mind that the pebble steel is 38mm without the band connector ludges. But the 42 looks really like the same size as the pebble.

----------

Male or female? Wrist size?

----------

38mm? Your wrist size? Looks a bit small

----------

Whats your wrist size? I think you could wear 42mm too.

----------

Mhhh are you happy with rhe size? 42 would have been ok too.

----------

Did you test the 42mm?

Dude chill out

First shower with my :apple:Watch! 38mm Space Grey.

How was the first shows with the apple watch?

----------

Just got my link bracelet :D

Love it#

----------

Just got my black leather loop strap this morning; also got the Stone strap but that's going back as it's more beige than anything else (was hoping more for a very pale grey/closer to off-white, pictures seem to show it different). FWIW, Apple's renders are almost spot on.

I like it; as others have said it doesn't really "feel" like leather, but I'm sure it is (just very thin). It's a great fit, easy to put on/adjust, and exceptionally comfortable. With the white Sport band I already had, I feel this is a great complement of straps to use for different occasions.

Love it dude #

I think it looks good. Larger faced watches on women don't bother me as much as on men. For some reason on men it screams Napoleon complex. I think this size and style works for you.

One question, it looks a little loose, maybe tighten the bank up one hole and post a second pic?

Aloha I have the 42 MM and I'm a gal it's perfect on me#

My Milanese loop came in today! I'm very happy with this as an alternative to the black sport band.

Here's my watch

It's a 42mm SG with black sport band, using the smaller band attachment as I have stupidly small wrists for a guy!

Also of anyone is wondering I have had NO issues with my tattoo. Could be because it's not thick colour, not sure :)

I received a 38mm ss classic buckle. And yes i am a dude. I just got skinny "chic arms". You cannot really tell from the photos, the watch itself is perfect for my size arm.

But the band looks like a kid band. Or something the size of a chic would wear. It really looks skinny in real life. Torn on whether to keep it, and try another band. Keep in mind that my extra band will probably come at the end of the month. Or just go with a 42mm watch, which i also have on order. Which would also have a wider band.

I think it looks great! The sport bands are wider, but the size of the actual watch is a perfect fit for you.

That's exactly what I thought when I tried on the 38. The watch itself was ok in size, maybe a tad smaller than I like, but the band felt way too thin and narrow for me. Almost made it uncomfortable. Went with the 42.

As a comparison. I posted a pic of the type of watch i am used to wearing. Vs the 38mm ss classic buckle. And the classic buckle looks tiny compared to the other watch. Also the band which i already thought was to skinny. Fees like it is to tight on my arm. Even when i loosen it. I have no idea what size wrist i am. Once again i am a dude. lol

sollizang - looks good!

The problem is this: since day 1 people have been basing their sizing off the circumference of the wrist. We should actually basing it off of the width of the top of your wrist. The circumference should be for your band sizing.

You may have a 180mm wrist but the top of your wrist is very slim, and therefore a smaller watch may work better.

But the REAL truth is this: Either size would work on pretty much any wrist. We're literally only talking about 4mm. That's a tiny difference.

The difference is actually closer to 3mm. They are not that different is size.

I have the exact same watch and I agree. The watch is perfect size but the band is too narrow looking, too me. Especially where it meets up with the watch. I have a black sport band ordered and I'm hoping it helps resolve this.

Did you test the 42mm?

My wrist size is about 160mm. I am really happy with 38mm though. I could have pulled off a 42mm but I am liking the 38 so far. I never tried it on. I used the Apple Store app to gauge the size. It looks tiny at first but looks good on the wrist

Exactly how I feel. If the band was slightly wider I could live with it.

Only thing I worry about is if I go with a sports band. And have to wait till the end of the month to find out what it's like. And it still doesn't work for me. I am stuck with the watch.

I hope so. Course I have a 42mm with a ship date of May 14-20. So I am hoping I can compare it asap. May have to make another trip to the Apple Store for another try on session. So I can compare both in person.
