Settled, returning my 38mm tomorrow.

Hello 42mm w/ Black sport! I love it, easier to read screen and just fits my hand size better.

LOVE IT

Post all your photos! I wanna see everyone's watch when it arrives. Anything specific you want photos of just let me know.

*Sidenote, it's not bent. The light makes the top look that way in one of the photos lol.`

Worth the money to have?

Nice keyboard!!!
Is it difficult for you to use the apple watch that way? I have a friend who wears his smartwatch like that.

----------
Since I have been using my watches on the inside of my arm for a LONG time, it's not difficult for me to have the Apple watch that way. It's normal for me. I would love to have the watch automatically display when I raise my arm, but since it doesn't when worn this way, I'll live with it. Not too difficult to touch the face when I want to see the time, etc.
As for the IBM keyboard, I MUCH prefer the old clicky keyboards and always have. I can use them on my Dell and my Mac. It just feels right and gives a good feedback.

Am I the only one that wears the watch on the inside of the arm? Of course it doesn't turn on by itself, I have to touch the screen, but I have worn my watch this way for over 60 years and am too old now to change.

Hey Fred, Doesn't the watch get banged around when you use your keyboard, etc? I think it is time for a change!! LOL . Really ... it is hidden like that ... try it on top of your wrist ... I really think you'll like it. I'm a senior citizen, too and remember when people wore their watches like that ... You will look years younger if you change it! :D

Damn! Makes me second guess my decision to go with the Sport for Gen 1. It looks so nice.

I did the same thing ... figuring that for Gen 1 I needed to go with the least expensive option. Well, after a couple days I realized that Apple did an amazing job on this watch ... it is "fully formed" and is not like that first gen iPad that I got that had no camera and no Siri.

When I realized that this watch is something I will wear every single day for at least a couple years, I decided to return the 42 SG for 38 SS... rather than a 38 SG. I am so glad I did. While the SG was lovely ... it was 100% casual and I wanted a bit more of a "wow"!

And why did you decide to go with 38 instead of 42?

Trying to stack

Love it! I'm looking for a simple bracelet to stack, also. Most simple leather bangles are made in men's sizes (I'm a woman). I like the leather because it won't scratch the watch ...

I am a woman who is short and with small-ish hands and a small wrist. The 42 just looked too big on me. When I tried on the 38 I could see that it really was the size I needed. It just looked proportionately "right" .. if that makes sense!

I was concerned about the text size, etc. but even though I am a senior citizen (yikes!) I have no problem at all with the size. This watch just couldn't be more perfect! (Can you tell I like it!)

I may not be a senior citizen but I am an AARP and thankfully my eyesight is perfect for up close. I would also stack with a small leather band for very causal. Still waiting for my orders.

I have a 42mm SS Black Classic coming with an extra Blue Leather Loop and SS Link band coming. Did cancel my space black SS when my son wanted something else for his bday.

Any help on sizing? Got my 38mm, seems to fit well sometimes but other times I find it too small.

Only thing is, I don't want to wear a watch thats a lot smaller than my other watch as it gets jarring when I switch back and forth.

I tried on the 42 yesterday VERY briefly at the store and it seemed a bit big. So the 38 is a bit small while the other is bit big.

Thoughts?

As you can see, the mechanical watch height is quick a bit longer compared to the apple watch but oddly enough, the mechanical watch doesn't wear as big as it looks. At least in my eyes.

Was gonna post in the sizing thread but wanted more opinions and this thread gets more views :):):):):)

I think it looks perfect on you.

The 38mm looks better than your old watch, which I think is too big. Of course the pictures make it look bigger but it looks quite proportional. You could probably do either size, however.

Got my 38mm SS w/ classic buckle today. I had the 42 Sport ordered with a June delivery but decided on Sunday to give this one a try. So far I'm really liking this one and think I'm just going to cancel the other one.

Thanks for the suggestion but I am not interested in looking younger. I put in my years and deserve to look old now. LOL

I did try to wear the watch on top of my wrist for one whole day, but it just wasn't natural for me after all these years of wearing it the other way, and no it doesn't get banged around that way anymore than the other way, at least for me.

I really don't care if it's hidden either, I got it for me, not for other people to see.

....Fred
