My small watch. I love it. Some people say it looks small. Others say it's perfect. It's all about opinions I guess. All that matters is mine!! I love it

Any help on sizing? Got my 38mm, seems to fit well sometimes but other times I find it too small.

Only thing is, I don't want to wear a watch thats a lot smaller than my other watch as it gets jarring when I switch back and forth.

I tried on the 42 yesterday VERY briefly at the store and it seemed a bit big. So the 38 is a bit small while the other is bit big.

Thoughts?

As you can see, the mechanical watch height is quick a bit longer compared to the apple watch but oddly enough, the mechanical watch doesn't wear as big as it looks. At least in my eyes.

Was gonna post in the sizing thread but wanted more opinions and this thread gets more views :):):):):)
So your photos are 38mm?
I think you can wear 42mm too.
The "problem" is, that the 38mm looks tiny anyway in reality.

Why is there an orange circle on your other watch?

Can someone post pictures of a an Apple Watch Sport with milanaise band and with link band?
I am curious how the finish of each other looks combined.
Especially where band and watch link together.
Thanks!

Just a heads up... Apple recommended not putting the stainless bands in the sport.... Apparently it can corrode the finish of the sport over time. Sorry I don't have pictures for you....

This is 100% false. Not just false that Apple said it, but, also false that it could ever happen. Galvanic corrosion, which is the assumed problem, does not happen between normal aluminum in the atmosphere and other metals, because, aluminum can not even exist in our atmosphere (normally) without oxidizing, providing a protective layer that eliminates the threat of galvanic corrosion. Processes that prevent oxidation of aluminum actually make it incredibly volatile and dangerous, that is how powerful the oxidizing effect of the atmosphere is on aluminum.

On top of that, all of Apple's aluminum is anodized and coated deliberately.

And on top of *THAT*, galvanic corrosion is typically very slow, and requires a LOT of salt between the metals to catalyze the reaction. It's only going to be sweat from really hard work that has enough salt. And again, it won't happen with these two metals.

38 or 42??? Looks great!

38

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe I saw earlier he ordered 38mm

You are correct.

Love it! I'm looking for a simple bracelet to stack, also. Most simple leather bangles are made in men's sizes (I'm a woman). I like the leather because it won't scratch the watch ...

Thank you I'm loving my simple stack.

Your arm looks similar to mine but i might be even thinner, be go for 42mm, the 38 is too small, it was definitevely made for woman

No they didn't. That's just word of mouth fear mongering in the forums.

No, it isn't. I was in the Manchester Apple Store over the weekend and heard the Watch staff say exactly that - don't put Watch bands on the Sport model because of corrosion. I'm not agreeing with them, but they are definitely saying it.

What staff in a store and what's in the manual or official releases are different.

Staff is wrong or show me the official warning.

This is 100% false. Not just false that Apple said it...

No, they ARE saying it. I heard staff at the Manchester Store say it over the weekend. It might not be the 'official' Apple party line of course, but individual staff members are touting this line. I suspect they know that many people are wanting to put Watch bands on the Sport and are 'encouraging' people not to do it by saying this. I don't agree with them that corrosion would be a problem, not in the short term, but there are at least individual staff members telling people not to do it.

Chill matey, I'm not disagreeing with you. Only stating what I heard with my own ears. Time will tell if this becomes Apple's official advice or is just 'rogue' staff members touting this line.

Perfectly chill. Just not a fan of things like this becoming a "thing" due to repitition.

Let's all say together...all 38mm straps are compatible with all 38mm watches and all 42mm straps are compatible with all 42mm watches.

There is no danger of corrosion. It's simply an absurd internet rumor and any staff repeating it are likely quoting what they read in forums such as this or heard from customers repeating the same.

Apple staff told be that aluminum is more durable than stainless steel. Another good one. How about the watches being manufactured in the good old USA? That's another gem.

No ill will here, friend:)

got it about a week and half ago. loving it!

I know the band is a bit tight. I am looking for a high quality band that I can do the band swap with the screws that was video'd the other day on here.
