Hi there, the desk would be facing the wall, that's why I made those T shape cable openings since power and ethernet sockets will be just under the desk. Something like that.
The Mac and display can be found in sketchup 3d warehouse.

I thought I'd be attaching it this way since the main idea of the design was to have an open end for such scenarios.

Very clean looking, I think Steve would have approved.
Not sure placing the computer right next to the window is the best idea though. Those curtains can be expected to collect a fair amount of dust over time.
Rounded corner desk for life here, I love leaning into the corner plus the vast leg space underneath. Probably reason #2 on my list for not working inhouse in someone else's studio anymore.
@tevion5 - love the space. The retro Apple Cinema Displays honestly still hold up today. They did a great job designing those. I think you should find a matching 30" on the used market for fun

I've been weighing up getting another 30" ACD actually to match, they still look fantastic for a 15+ year old design! But honestly given my investment at this point I don't think I'd be doing the 7, or it's W5700X justice unless I got something with 5K support 😆

I think You'd have to define messy desks first. My former one, and still existing back in there.

Love this. I’ve got a few classic Macs myself that I just can’t figure out a proper way to display them without taking up an extreme amount of space. iMac G4, iMac G5, Mac Pro 3,1, etc. would love to find a second 3,1 and build a bench out of them but I haven’t settled on giving the iMacs a proper display.Is this really an one year old thread? 4670K OC'd to 4.3ghz
GTX 1060
16GB Ram
on the right, my 2008 8-core Mac Pro
dual Xeon E5462's, 2.8ghz
Radeon HD7770
22GB of Ram
running Linux
obv my network switch, speakers, ancient 2007 Benq monitor (1920x1200 though!)
you can see the Mac Pro's keyboard and mouse on the side. that's how i switch between them. i just change inputs on my monitor and swap the keyboard and mouse.
i know cable management is ass but it's a tiny desk, with 2 machines fully wired in, my access point, hue bridge... there are so many cables.
there's also a HDMI cable running from the Mac Pro to the TV which is to the right of the setup.

I finally found a computer that will use my large paper weight of a monitor without a bunch of adapters.
