Very sturdy, just size it properly and I don't think you'll have any problems.Nice setup!
I am looking into buying the chair you have. How do you like it? Any drawbacks? Is it very sturdy?
What's the webcam please?
Yes, It is clear that you need the side panel. I have it too...I have one of those stored in a cupboard....... ?
The best looking designed cam ever.
I am sure the 5.1 is designed to work best with the side panel on...?
Work from home VFX workspace. 16 core Mac Pro next to Supermicro dual 12 core workstation (hidden next to the Mac Pro)
Vfx Supervisor...Eizo CG277 on the left. Wacom Cintiq 27QHD is actually on the right... that's my tablet.Nice! Do I detect an Eizo logo on the monitor on the left? And what kind of job do you do to require both machines but no tablet?

Now that is a workspace! Hopefully I'll get to have my own like that some day. I just got a job offer today, but it's for more manual labor, so I might end up buying my own setup like yours when things get finalized and some checks start rolling in lol. Just need to find some room in the pile of debt I have to manage a new office space lol. Oh boy, the journey continues!
Still, love your setup! I envy your view!
Nice workspaces everyone, here’s what mine looks like, Im a designer and recently upgraded from a 5,1, need to work around the cable management for sure

What’s the monitor in the middle?
Have never seen such a large bezel....... , looks like a big iPad.

its a Wacom Cintiq 32 Pro, actually the bezels are magenetic so you can attach stuff like a remote keypad
From my personal experiences with music studios and such, I'm forced to ask this question: "Why?" At the most, get what CND has mentioned, as it'll make what cables you have visible much more appealing in general... but there's almost nothing compared to what my eyes have been traumatized by. Just giving you a hard time, though lol
Well now, that clears up a lot for me lol. Mind if I ask what kind of use you personally get out of it? Curious if I could ever benefit from something like that... except I might go nuts having a foot of bezel around my screen lol
You need the bezel to rest your arms while drawing, and something to grab while you swing the thing around. I have a 27” Cintiq and the huge bezel is more or less a mandatory design element for serious painting. A thin bezel would make interacting with the edges of the screen (palettes, usually) a pain.
Lol, from the photo the bezels might look unreasonable big, but when you're actively waving around a 32 inch screen attached to an arm, you actually need space where to put some stuff, it doesnt look like it but its one of those things that make sense when you get the chance to use
Regarding the cables mostly aesthetics, might sound unreasonable but i would like more control on how things look, specially if i stare at them for long periods of time so har i haven't had the chance to do so because i have to order more adapters and more cables....
You know, with what has been explained, I totally can see why you'd want those bezels. I'm just such a minimalist, and I love having multiple screens together with no space in-between that I can basically split a window and not notice so much. Just a world of difference in the method of use lol.Yeah! I do mostly illustration, heavy 3D modeling and sculpting, consider this is a massive screen, it can easily fit a whole desk, and besides you can place it at any angle, and rotate it literally 360 degrees so this huge bezels actually help lol.
I honestly just didn't put it all together that this screen was more than just a basic display. I feel a hair on the stupid side right now lmao

As for the cable management, I totally understand. I used to have one massive rat's nest for my personal music studio a while back, and it was never a pretty sight. Hell, even just using my MBP with the two USB ports occupied starts to make me a little annoyed with the cables... so I completely understand the eyesore. I just found it funny that you're talking about cable management, I see possibly 6 cables in the photo (maybe I can't count), and I just immediately thought back to all the bedroom and even official setups I've worked on with easily 30+ cables running around, and half of them don't even touch a computer. If you take a look at Celldweller's studio, just imagine one section of his modular portion of the studio and that's a good representation of the stuff I've worked on (in essence). Definitely much more equipment than I'm used to, but that's a good idea of what I've helped assemble at times. It gets really fun! Obviously, just had to give you a hard time lol. I always have to chuckle when I see a few cables lying around and it's causing me anxiety
