Hi everyone!

So the problem first arrived after I've rolled the ios 14 developer beta. Yeah, I know it may not be the smartest thing to do and may come with problems.

But.

Lots of betas are in the past. The public beta is. The final version is and the final public release is now available for quite some time. I've gone through all of it.

And this problem is still here!

So when I swipe the screen down to go to the Siri App Suggestions, the apps suggested by Siri will show sometime and completely disappear at other times! Showing just a blank page without any content. I love this feature because it really shows the apps that I use frequently and I almost don't use the screens. But once you start typing something in, it miraculously appears again and works for some time further as it should. Then it turns to a blank screen again until you type something in. Turning Siri app suggestions off and then back on in the Settings helps, it resets it and it shows then for some time. And then it breaks again.

I've deleted the developer beta and erased everything, restored from backup. Same ****.

I've erased everything and restored as a new iPhone, redownloaded the apps. Worked for some time, now I see it again.

I have no idea why the heck is it and maybe something in the hardware is wrong with my phone? It's the 11 Pro Max.

Would be glad if you can provide some helpful input on this.

And here is how it looks after a while, as you can see absolutely no data is shown.

I had that missing suggestions start happening today. iOS 14.01 on iPhone 8 Plus.

What baffles me is the flipping of icons that I am experiencing. The main bar at the bottom I have 4 icons in the same position at all times.

Forever, I have them from left to right:
Phone - Mail - Messenger - Music

Everyone so often they flip, or mirror , on me for no reason. WTH??

Annoying when you want to make a call and the music app opens....

Wow never heard of the bottom ones changing their positions! That’s very weird.

I have a similar problem with Siri suggestions when sharing with someone from an app. It was working fine with iOS 14.0.1 and the one day just stopped. I don’t see any of my suggested contacts anymore.

Having the same issue, iPhone 12 here. did u guys solve this issue?
No. Unfortunately. With each update, it's still there. It is starting to seem to me that it is done intentionally to some degree by Apple. Also, it's interesting that it is not reported by many users on the internet - either only a small fraction has it, or they don't care about this feature.

What baffles me the most is the fact that I had the same issue when I was on Beta Phase with my iPhone 11.

I guess this could have something to do with beta enrollment.

That was my guess too. Though I have no idea how it can be connected to the new clean installed iOS and a brand new phone. Maybe to the iCloud account if it's the same as for beta? If so - changing your iCloud to another one (or maybe just logging out) should fix it. Other than that I'm pretty clueless.

Also as a side note - the issue is NOT happening until you install your first third-party app and use Apple-only apps.

I’m clueless as well. And I don’t think that this will be fixed in the next iOS update since this bug isn’t widespread.

Did somebody solve this issue? I reinstalled iOS on my iPhone XR and got this trouble. I didn’t have it before and I have this bug on my iPad and iPhone.

New beta installed today and unfortunately the fix is not there yet. Apple keeps telling me devs are aware and will fix it with one of the updates.

Same bug with me. Never had any betas just got updated right into 14.4 from iOS 13. Everything worked fine until I've reset all settings due to I've forgotten encryption password. Now living with it and shedding tears every time I'm pulling down for the spotlight ?

Btw I found that aside from soft reboot you can type "siri" in spotlight search and suggestions will go back for some time again ?

So a beta 14.6 is available now. And Apple still won’t fix it. What a shame.

anyone discovered a permanent solution for this problem maybe?

Let me say this, the problem is fixed on my iPhone 12 but I don’t know how and why. It was fixed by itself...The weird thing I noticed that it was fixed when I came back from my vacation without doing anything special.

Wow that’s good to hear.

Personally I’m going to factory reset my iPhone with step by step data restoring. I’ve already tried full data restore from backup after factory reset and the bug was there.

I was doing a complete full reset and restore with the iTunes/computer by advice of an Apple senior engineer. Can’t get more full than that. But it didn’t help.

i am suspecting that the issue is somehow connected to the Apple ID. I am now trying to run a phone with Apple ID signed off and it seems to work fine now. Of course I can’t use it without Apple ID fully, but I’m trying just to narrow down the issue.
