maybe a howard stern app is coming?
And we cant complain about this since the app is free, I can see them doing a thing where the make a sirius premium app that is 4.99 or 9.99, they prob dont have everything worked out with contracts for mlb and others..
NOOOOOOOOoooooooo.
I immediately downloaded and upgraded to the Premium streaming (I was still on the free streaming because my account isn't due until the end of the year). Now there's no Stern?!?!
EPIC FAIL! That's not even strong enough. This is completely unacceptable. At least I still have Pocket Tunes Radio, but the rationale of "payment" or "Apple and smut" have to be incorrect. Sirius already streams the Stern show from the web (and it works fine in Pocket Tunes Radio), and the SiriusXM app already has stations like Raw Dog and Playboy.
Calling Sirius now...
I'm infuriated at this!!!!!

its a shame that this app is geting bad reviews just cause all the howard stern fans he is a Moron anyway its a shame that he has a big following group to anyway i still think this is a good app.
It's Howard. Son of a Bitch....
He better be working on his own app, and he better announce it Monday.
I highly doubt it's Howard. He has said on numerous occasions, when the subject is brought up, that he wants people to be able to stream his show on their phones.
I have a feeling it has something to do with Apple censoring it.
Then why can I listen to the "Playboy" channel, and "Raw Dog". If apple was censoring, then all the foul mouthed rap stations and Playboy and Raw Dog would not be available. They are in the app.
I love all these people who think Sirius/XM purposefully left off their favorite channels (Howard, NFL/MLB Audio broadcasts). You don't think Sirius wants to include them to increase their listener base?
The answer is very simple, and has been pointed out numerous times. Sirius/XM does not have the LEGAL right to offer these channels under the terms of their contracts with Howard or the NFL or MLB. Music/performance rights, like most copyright use agreements, are highly specific on the MEDIUM through which you may use the rights you are licensing. It appears that when Sirius signed up Howard, Howard did not authorize Sirius to provide his content on mobile phones. The Starplayr and Pocket Radio examples are different as both were essentially simple extensions of the web streaming by THIRD parties. NOT BY SIRIUS.
So get a grip. If you want Howard on the iPhone app, push Howard to license those performance rights to Sirius. You'll never get MLB or NFL to license live play-by-play as both will have their own apps to do so (MLB already does).
(And yes, I have professional experience in this setting....)

You have satellite radio because of Stern. Otherwise you would have equipment that makes a great paper weight. You maybe need to re-think WHO is the moron.
