SIRIUS FAIL! No Howard Stern on Sirius iPhone App

If Howard ever does become available on Sirius/XM, could someone PM me please?

I'd pay a yearly charge if they wanted.

I am sure Howard is not on because Sirius and Howard are trying to figure out how to get even more money out of his loyal fans.

What amazes me is that Howard signs a 500 million dollar contract and then has the balls to only broadcast live 4 days a week! And fans just keep on going. Howie is a shadow of his former self and Artie can be really annoying at times.

Give me Jim Norton any day of the week.

Who is Jim Norton? I'd love to find some other talk shows to listen to... I'm not a huge stern fan, I mainly listen because I can't find any other decent morning shows.

A quick YouTube search will give you a good idea. He has some great HBO Specials on there.

You seem like you're the type of person that could go for a new listen. Give O&A a listen on XM 202/Sirius 197 for a few days and you might like it. It took me a few days to learn who everyone was and what they were all about - over four years ago. I'm still a daily listener.

I used to really enjoy Stern and still do whenever I hear him

But he has fallen off the face of the earth media wise in my eyes. I haven't heard a thing about him for quite awhile.

Seems before, I did once a week

If I have a Sirius subscription, I have to pay extra to get O&A don't I? I'm already paying these guys enough...

I think Sirius and Howard will work things out... Sirius wants the traffic and Howard wants the viewers.

I guess this means the SiriusXM app is not such a failure after all.

I don't think it makes sense for Sirius to hold back on any of it's channels. It needs to put it's best foot forward so to speak, otherwise it won't gain anymore listeners than it already has.

I don't have satellite radio because of Stern, I was a Sirius subscriber long before he came along. I have no desire to listen to his crap. He is long past his prime and his days at Sirius are likely numbered.

that was the only reason you canceled? you could just not listen you know... i think you could even have his channels blocked from your receivers.

We never got Sirius because he was there. We had XM long before he came to Satellite and got it for the music even before Opie and Anthony were even on it.

I know now that since the merger there is only one company and we will stay with XM simply because to get Stern, we would have to get the Sirius best of and well, to us, there is nothing on the best of worth getting.

Stern’s broadcasts won’t be offered because of the “mature programming,” according to a Sirius XM customer service representative reached today by telephone.

I never cancelled Sirius, I was merely stating that he was not the reason I have the service. I've been a loyal Sirius subscriber for almost 6 years now. Howard has only been there 3 or 4 years. Howard Stern is NOT the ONLY thing that is on satellite radio. The only people that seem to be upset with the iPhone app are the ones that follow that idiot. They are also the ones that don't seem to understand it's not the applications fault you can't hear him, but in actuality it's your dear Howard's fault since he did not agree to the mobility rights in HIS contract. If Sirius could have his station(s) on the mobile platform they would.

oh yea.. they are numbered.. about 545 days left until his contract is up.. After that, who knows.. Probably a few off shoot shows which will be good.. I like everyone on the show, but howard is by far the best with interviews.. but all the stupid **** that they do t(the funny stuff) is brainstormed among the whole staff.. so the Porn Star Trivia will be there.. Bang my Dad type contests will still be there long after howard.. and its great.
 
Pocket tunes gets howard 100 and 101 also, you just use your subscription....
 
i have had pocket tunes and been VERY happy.. their support is great, the update often, and listen to customer feedback. I am HAPPY with them
