Hey does this Smart Folio leave the bottom of the iPad in contact with the table etc. surface, when in the most upright angle? A review I've just seen stated the iPad could get scratched if it were dragged along a surface whilst in that upright angle.

To answer my own question above, no it doesn’t rest on the surface. You’ll need to lean it forward as you drag it for it to rub against the surface, which is unlikely.

Read first couple pages and then jumped to end, so I could have missed it if already mentioned, but I see on the Apple site, there is an Otterbox Symmetry 360 which looks like a nice case/Smart Cover with an interesting folding latch that accommodates the cover either with or without the pencil..... Also has a clear back case. Looks nice. “Only at Apple”

Interesting, but to me the point of the Smart Cover was the ability to take it off and not have a back case on the iPad. I like to hold just the iPad most of the time. One of many reasons I went back to the 10.5 Pro.

My wife HATES her folio case for the 11. I hate the fact that I paid $80 for it and she complains every day.

However, I can't find anything else at this point. She wants something like the old smart case.
