The thread topic is _not_ discussing just the ‘screen’ of the iPhone 6.5 X plus, its discussing the entire phone as a whole. The iPhone X is an entirely different device because of the glass back and stainless steel bands that actually make it seemingly heavier as well.

If it has no purpose for you, then why are you interested posting about the size of the 6.5 iPhone X in this thread? (For the record, Which you have contributed two posts).

Also, I still think you’re missing part of the point, it’s not just about the display, it’s the size of the phone as a whole if consumers want something that large, given that it will be a much different phone over the Plus models.

The weight of X plus has not yet leaked so we shouldn’t rush to judge. And personally i find heavier 8 plus easier to hold than X....weight distribution is more important.

You do realize the iPhone 8+ is heavier than the iPhone X, correct?

iPhone 8 Plus:7.13 ounces /202 Grams

iPhone X: 6.14 Ounces/174 Grams

I’m not sure using stats of the sales from one country backs up the claim the 8 Plus model outsold the regular version though. It did in one quarter in the United States but the article didn’t talk about the rest of the world. This whole disagreement seems like peeing in the wind to me.
Especially when Apple don’t publish any sales mix data and the best there we have are charts based on surveys of 500 people who’ve just bought an Apple product.

I would say that the test will be how well the X Plus sells against the 2018 X - but it’s not really a fair comparison given that the Plus is an all new design and the X will be an incremental refresh. Sales of the Plus will be bolstered by those who held back specifically for it.

I think they meant the taller, slimmer proportions give the X more of a top-heavy feel.

Personally, I prefer the weight and feel of the X over a plus model.

Yeah i know that’s what i said. The heavier 8plus has better weight distribution than X and i found it easier to hold.

We already know the weight hasn’t ‘Leaked.’ No one is judging anything, only speculating based off the obvious of the 6.5 iPhone X Plus will be substantially heavier over the 5.8 iPhone X. You’re reiterating what we already know without the actual specifications.

But a serious question. Isn’t the 6.1 and 6.5 going to be about the same size or will the case of the 6.5 be bigger

Edit: Never mind, I found the 6.5 mm will be a few millimeters bigger

Way too big. I don’t understand it. How on earth do people keep this in their jeans pocket!

Then again, I’m waiting for a new iPhone SE... Probably in vain.

When phones went gigantic, I became a back pocket guy. Once you go there, the size is irrelevant so you might as well grab the bigger one IMO.

Fair enough, but it’s not great for big cities (where I mostly am) ie it’s not a very thief safe position to keep your phone!
