Guys - I can confirm that the link provided by @The Game 161 works!! I’ve got both my Magic Mouse 2 and my Magic Trackpad 2 connected to my 10.5 Pro via Bluetooth and it’s awesome!! They’re both connected at the same time and working seamlessly with one another. I can tell already that it is soooo much easier to work at my desk without having to constantly raise my hand to use the screen.

Thank you so much for posting this trick!!

I have short term , medium and longer term plans

short term : I just bought a cheap anker BT keyboard and mouse for about £20 to play with workflows and see how I like it.

medium term : I use a MBP at work, and when I work from home I use a USB-C to HDMI adapter and USB-C charger. two separate cables. I'll get a hub with USB-C power in, HDMI out and some spare USB ports. That will be good for my work MBP, and I should be able to use exactly the same hub without chagnes to connect my ipad pro - it'll charge, and give me a second monitor out and access to USB accessories/ethernet.

longer term : I may replace my current PC keyboard/mouse with bluetooth multi-device versions. This will then let me use one KB/M with my home PC, ipad and work MBP. I already have a nice KB/M so this might be a year out, once I've had time to settle in with workflows etc.

Question on the hub - if it has a monitor out, will it always force that? Eg if I just want to charge my ipad but don't want the monitor switching on?

incase anyone was wondering, the first magic track pad works if you connect it this way! Thanks for posting!

How did you manage to get it to work? I can see mine in BT devices, and in Switch Control BT devices, but Switch Control only cycles through all tappable areas. Then, in Assistive touch, I see the cursor but I cannot move it.
Could you possibly post detailed steps? :D
