Well after a huge "fail" with measuring and getting proper Solo Loops at launch (I measured a 6, she measured a 5...) both HUGE, so we ended up using the new Apple techniques / this forum suggestions / John Gruber's chart to match to Sports Band hole position to order correct sizes of 4 for me, 3 for her. Finally nearly a month later we have our replacement bands and they are flawless and fit so, so well. We wear Sports Bands 95% of the time and this is a much more comfortable, slick looking band so assuming they don't radically stretch so much I have to replace them to fit or super easily get dirty without being able to clean them I can't imagine I would buy anything else going forward. I hope Apple doesn't get spooked by the difficult roll out because obviously once people know their size they know their size so it makes it easy to order more moving forward...
Questions...
1. For those of you who has comfortable but snug Solo Loops since launch... have they stretched? If so have they stretched so much they don't stay in place anymore? I don't like to be pinched but I absolutely don't want watch movement including during running.
2. Since these bands are silicone and not flurolastemer like the Sports Bands, does anyone see a difference in terms of getting dirty or cleaning them? I have white and light colored Sports Bands that simply NEVER get dirty it seems which I found amazing as back in my Fitbit days with silicone bands the white got dirty so so fast. My new solo loop is a white one so I'm wondering how it will perform in terms of staying white vs. my white sports bands.
3. Because of how nice this is I'm contemplating order a black braided solo loop in the same size (I wear a 4, the smallest 44mm so I have no choice) but I have heard a few complaints it looses even more than the normal solo loop and frays pretty quickly... anyone with input on that?
Thanks! If you find the right size I fully agree this is the most comfortable band bar none I have ever had in 5 years of wearing Apple Watches.
