Is anyone other than me just getting SICK of this issue.. I’m about ready to just go back to my trusty and reliable APP1 which never had/have this problem and for most uses work just as well (and oddly fit in my ears better if that is possible)

I only just got my first Airpods today but I noticed they were on an older firmware and even when I wasn't using them (not charging so no updating) there was always an option to enter their settings on my iPhone. After leaving them to update to the latest firmware the airpods settings will disappear and disconnect from bluetooth

I probably need more time with them but so far the only reason I can see my case charge dropping is because it's charged up the earphones.

This issue has definitely settled down or even stoped for me over the past month and a half. The past 48hrs I lost over 60% percent after only issuing the for 15 mins in that time frame. Almost like it changes with ever iOS update or something. Oh well still the worst apple product I have owed to date.

Hey! I noticed my case uses (lets say) 10% to charge both airpods from 90 to 100%.. but it also uses the same 10% to charge them from 50 to 100%. I tried to use my airpods for longer periods of time each use - at least 4h - before putting them back in the case and this way I could get 22h> from a fully charged case. After that I used the airpods for short periods of time before putting them back in the case and I couldn't get 12h of use in total. Find my off, ANC on (or transparency), APP2 bought this trimester. Have you guys noticed this too?

Hi all. Bought mine this week. The same problem with the loss of the charge of the case as with everyone. Followed the steps described at the beginning of this thread:
1) Untie the headphones from "Find My"
2) Tied them up
3) In the headphone settings, ( in bluetooth on iPhone ) turned off the locator network
For a day, the charge of the case does not fall below 100%, before that it fell by 1-3% every hour.

P.S
The green charging flash is always shows on a batterey widget and on pop up widget ( when APP-2gen is openend ) eaeven if headphones fully charged - this is a normal behaivour, because on APP-1gen its the same.

Wierd thing that worked for me. Tried every possible solution found on the Internet. Nothing works. Start to think that my Mac battery widget is a problem. Go to my iMac bluetooth setting and forgot my AirPods. Strangely it also un pair them from my iPhone. Pair them again from iPhone and for now (four days) there is no drain from the case at all. Sound strange. I know.

Hello together,

I alsohave this problems with the Air Pods 3 and already changed them, but it seems Find My is the main problem.

The Thing is, i cant turn it off!

So it keeps getting green/on again everytime you use the Airpods again with the iPhone...

Has anyone find a solution for this?

I really thing i sending those back to get to the old ones, were i never had a case drain like that...

thank you

How do i permanently remove airpods pro 2 from Find My? It keeps unpairing from my phone when i remove from Find My and when I re-pair it adds it back to Find My.
+ yeah how i get this permanently removed? i think this would be the solution for all that hassle! :(

This is still not fixed by apple right?

For me its only working if i disable the find my on the apple AirPods 3 and then only connect these to iPhone in Airplane Mode otherwise its on again and draining the case....
