Right side of wrong
It's a netbook (but not in terms of price), not a mac pro with 4 hard drive bays with 1TB each. 60GB is ample. It's designed for web browsing, email, etc. Maybe some word processing, powerpoints, etc.

i disagree. these days, even the OS takes up at least 10 GB, and some more. and 60 GB after formatted is what, 54 GB or so? so you're down to 44 GB with no personal files or apps installed. what about putting some music or videos on it for while your on the go?

I LOVE the design. But I don't get why people here are complaining that the price is high, when they themselves purchase Macs.. isn't that a bit hypocritical?

Well, as amply illustrated by the post below yours, yes it is - the thing is, as also illustrated by the post they're not even aware they're being that way.

Even by your math, 45GB is still plenty of room for a machine this size.

Not contempt with 60GB? Fine, go buy a bigger drive and put it in yourself, or get the model with the 128GB SSD. Or better yet, don't buy it if it doesn't fit your needs, or you're not willing to deal with the reduced ammount of disk space available.

Remember that the original EEE PC only had a 4GB SSD, and it didn't make that computer any less useful or popular.
