I did not contact them at all, as the writing did not bother me, but still received this email this morning:

Dear Glen,

I just wanted to follow up on the order.
We noticed that while your Apple Watch Stand is fully functional and enjoyed by most customers, the location of the printed product details may be aesthetically displeasing for you.
We would love to process a new stand out for you to turn this experience around.

The new stand that will process out for you as a courtesy will have the prints relocated to bottom of the stand (refer to the attached photos).

For us to process this courtesy package for you, could you confirm the shipping address for us?

xxxxxx (address deleted for this post)

Thanks so much for your continued interest and support in Spigen.

They must have gotten enough feedback already. I was about to contact them about my Amazon order to tell them not to ship it if it had that text on it.

Fortunately maybe now I don't need to.

Well that's a very smart move on their part!

Mine arrives today and I'm hoping the text is MIA.

I contacted them, and was told I could send it back for a refund, nothing else.

Where's the new text? The one I received looks like complete garbage. I really don't know who decided to put the text there.

Received a shipping notice yesterday though it hasn't yet hit UPS.
Hopefully it will be a printing-free "revision 2" unit.

I contacted them and was offered an exchange to a revised version of the stand or a £5 partial refund. Not sure which to take at the moment.

The process of getting a replacement stand for me is proving much more difficult.

After arguing (they wanted me to pay to send it back - bloody cheek!) they're willing to refund me the cost of second class postage (which normally takes 3-5 working days) once they have received the item. This is after 6 emails back and forth!

After their attitude in the emails I'm half tempted to tell them to shove their stand. What annoys me the most is that customers in the USA seem to be being treated so much better than those of us in the UK.

Earlier today, I noticed the comments re the ultra visible logo on the stand, which is not depicted on the product page. As a direct result, I sent an email to Spigen, via Amazon, requesting cancellation, specifically referring to that obnoxiously placed logo as my reason. Just received confirmation of that cancellation. I do hope if others cancel, or decide not to buy for this reason, that you so advise Spigen.

Update: Just double checked the time on the copy of that email: 7:11a.m. Eastern this morning. Text of my request:
It's my understanding that unlike the picture on the description page, the stand shipped includes highly visible text as a logo. Not what I ordered. Not acceptable. Kindly cancel.

i also suggest anyone receiving the printed version from an order placed on amazon, to make a complaint to amazon. especially if there is ANY pushback whatsoever from spigen regarding them making it right by paying return postage or any other issue.

this was spigen's mistake and they need to make it right!

Mine just arrived without any text (I was all ready to return it if it had it). Ordered via Amazon (fulfilled by Spigen).

I like it.

I'm glad this thread exists as I saw a picture of the stand in another thread and was massively annoyed about the text. I pre-ordered several weeks ago and, as you all, didn't see any evidence of this text in the pictures.

I'll have a think and probably return mine. I ordered directly from Spigen UK.

Found out why the UK may be getting different treatment - looking at the details up close, spigen.co.uk isn't owned by spigen. It's owned by a private company who sell a whole load of phone accessories/cheap phone cases on Amazon.

Must just be licensed to use the name :/

I'm glad I read this thread -- thank you. I ordered one from Amazon now that they're fixing the problem. We'll see what shows up.

Spiegen makes good on the stand

This is my stand... Ugly text on top. It stays in my room so I'm fine with it...

see post #1 in this thread...Spigen shipped corrected stand to me yesterday free of charge. Received UPS track # last night.

and it seems from all these Spigen stand threads, the way to get a new one free of charge is to buy from spigen direct and reside in the US.

I've reached out to spigen US to see if they can help with the UK support. I get the feeling the UK one is a guy working out of a warehouse.

Sucks, but I opened a PayPal dispute yesterday after getting nowhere. It's only £15, but it's the principle.

Same here. I emailed them and they asked me to send them a picture. Instead I emailed them a link of a YouTube video posted on these forums. They said I could return it as long as it was in brand new condition and I had the box. They did not give me any other alternative offers to resolve the issue.

I haven't got to the point of actually requesting a refund yet but I wouldn't be surprised if I have the same experience if I do.

That's interesting to know. I wasn't aware of that and it explains the different type of treatment and poor level of customer service us UK consumers are getting.

Please let us know how you get on with Spigen US. I might be tempted to contact them too.

Mine came today and there's no writing on top, the label is on the bottom. I pre-ordered it from Amazon mid-April. it was shipped and sold by Spigen.

There's a Spigen label written on the rubber part though. Perhaps the customer service is confused when people complain about the writing on top and they are thinking you guys are referring to the Spigen logo on the black rubber.

Mine arrived today and did come with the text on top. I did contact Spigen about a replacement and am awaiting a reply. Other than the etching being on top, it's fantastic.

Mine has shipped (direct Spigen order; US resident) and is scheduled for Wednesday delivery per UPS. Crossing fingers it has the labeling on the bottom, but since yours does and you're in the U.S. and just received it, I think they're still shipping these, hoping people won't notice.

It's souring me on Spigen as a brand.

Mine is expected to be here Wednesday (I'm about an hour from Spigen's HQ) and I'm hoping it doesn't have the writing on it. Very excited because it seems to get pretty high ratings other then the text issue.
