Hi, I have battery drain about 1% per hour overnight. During day it is usually worse. In battery settings nothing shows. It happened on my iPhone 6S, I have iPhone Xr now set as new and it happens too. On my iPad Pro 10,5” it is not much different.
Do you have same problem?

It happens on my X and both my 10.5. All DFU restored and started clean. 1% an hour.

Are you sure it also happens on 2018 iPhones like XR? I thought they were spared from this.

On my mother’s 6th gen it’s more like 0.25-0.5% an hour. On my dad’s SE it’s like 2-3%+ per hour. And 1-2% an hour on my mother’s 7 too.

Also done calibration, doesn’t help one bit.

Even if there are no apps installed it doesn’t help.

Even putting in airplane mode doesn’t help one bit.

And this is across multiple iPhones and iPads. All of which drained 0-1% overnight till iOS 11.3.1.

I have screen time enabled. On Xr it was 5% in 9 hours last night. I would say it happens sometimes.

On my iPhone 6S it started with iOS 10. On my iPad Pro sometimes during iOS 11.

Doesn’t it happen always? Tried turning off screen time?

How much do you lose overnight on iOS 12 / 6s?

Did not try. I will try, thanks.

10-20% on 6S.

iPad Pro - there it happens every time. I will take a look at Xr more...

I use Apple Watch 3 - can it be factor for discharging iPhone?

Edit: last night - 10,5h iPhone not touched - -7% of battery.

Can you test drop on 4G too? On Wifi I’ve been getting a drop of 1% per hour but on 4G 4-5% an hour on my X.

Yesterday night: over some 7 hrs approx

X 92-89% on WiFi
10.5 1 96-94% on WiFi
10.5 2 80-77% on 4G

Yes, I will test it next night. During last 8,5 hours night there was 5% drop on Xr on Wi-Fi

Try turning off screen time once and then let us see if that makes a difference.

Only between 4-5 AM it shows Siri using battery. Any other hour it does not show any app.

Can you test overnight on 4G once? On XR.

Also, what have the drops been like on 6S?
[doublepost=1541577287][/doublepost]Also,I hope your starting points are not 100% on all devices. Right? Ideally starting point should be under 90%. Right?

Yes, next night I will test it.
6S I have sold so do not have stats from 6S.

Yes, it was allways under 100%. (Usually about 90%)

Ok. Thank You.

I even checked at the Apple store.

7 Plus dropped like 8-10% overnight.

8+ about half of that.

X series dropped 5%ish too overnight.

If it shows off screen time that’s not normal.

Your drain would have been 0% without usage.

My drain is about about 1% per hour at night, without doing nothing.
Xs 12.1

But is that on Wifi or 4G?

It’s good to hear Apple isn’t doing planned obsolescence. My X drains more or less the same. I thought the newer phones drained 0-2% over 8 hrs.
[doublepost=1541653448][/doublepost]Last night over some 9-10 hrs, Pro 10.5 dropped 3-4% on Wifi. Over 7-8 hrs X dropped 4-5% over Wifi. Both with sceeen time on.

iPhone Xr 4% battery drop on 4G.

Seems like a lot of activity at night time. If you aren't using the phone it's not normal.

Yes, it was the first time with 13% battery drop on Xr and with these stats. Last night it is OK and without acticity at night. Hopefully that night was unique.

Was 4G on on the iPad?

On your XR that seems to be more than 4%. Do you remember the percentage before/after going to sleep?
[doublepost=1541661775][/doublepost]Under these conditions on my X:

Full brightness out in the sun

Wifi off

4G on

AirPods full volume music through a music app in the background

Parallel surfing the web on 4G

I lose 1% every 2-2.5 mins.

Assuming I’m under 99%, I lose 1% every 2-2.5 mins.

So like from 99% to 90% in under 30 mins.
[doublepost=1541661910][/doublepost]Can you do one thing? Is there more drain if you have iMazing wifi sync on all the time?
