Can someone tell me how you opt in? I've never participated in a beta test before, but I have a new 13" 2.4GHz 320m and want to see how SC2 runs on it. I have a battlenet account.

This may be a total newbie question, but I've never participated in a beta test before. I know when you download the opt-in application it takes a snapshot of your system specs then sends them to blizzard. Can you delete the opt-in application at that point?
Also, during the beta, how does blizzard receive feedback from your machine? I'm not sure how I feel about blizzard having "access" to my computer...is there a filepath/directory where this is all stored when you download the beta client? Can you simply delete all that when you're done and then blizzard cant talk with your computer anymore?
Lastly, I have Starcraft ONE currently installed...but I found the following file & I'm not sure what it's for:
Macintosh HD > Users > Shared > Blizzard > com.blizzard.Starcraft.prefs
Is that the "snapshot" that the opt-in application took of my system?
Im confused, If i have the beta key but the only option right now if for me to download the windows client, do i have to re-try for a new beta key when the mac version comes out?
Does SC2 ship as a mac/PC game in the same box? I want to pre-order now and play in bootcamp for now but I don't want to get stuck with a windows-only game when it's actually realeased.
I believe this is the case, just like all past Blizzard games. Nothing I've read online says otherwise, but I guess we won't really know until it's actually released.
Edit: Looks like we were right, single DVD for both Mac and PC: http://forums.battle.net/thread.html?topicId=22748755719&postId=227467415956&sid=3000#4
Okay, I just ordered SC2 from GameStop and I've made an account on battle.net... so is the next step to just wait until the beta key arrives from GameStop and then enter the 26-digit key into where it says "Add a New Game" and then "Enter Game Key" on my account management page with battle.net?
When I click where it says SC Beta, it says "You need to have at least one full version of a blizzard game attached to this Battle.net account in order to set up your beta profile" so I'm guessing the beta key has to go into the "Add a New Game" tab?
Has anyone done this?
They will send you instructions along with the key. I believe you need one Blizzard game associated with your battle.net account (you need to have bought at least one blizzard game and tied it into your new battle.net account) if you want to download the program that sends your system specs to Blizzard and makes you eligible for the lottery of SC2 beta keys. I think if you already have a key (which you'll get in a few hours from Gamestop) you don't need another game associated with your account to gain beta access since you aren't taking part in the lottery.
