Sweet sale ... can hardly believe that with everything I already own I was able to buy so much ... at least a dozen games. Of course, in some cases that means I have it on CD and more than one digital service ... but, hey ...
I picked up a couple of supposedly crappy racers: Crash Time 3 and Flatout 2. I'm in the mood for some goofy car shenanigans.
Flatout is far from crappy.
Flatout isn't terrible but it's no Burnout or GRID or whatever.
Max Payne bundle for $3.74; two of the best games ever created.
I've never played a Max Payne before and I'm not sure if I should buy it!
And I got Half Life for 1,99$ (I wanted to know the story before the 2 and Ep. 1 & 2)
Max Payne was brilliant. One of the first games I played that merged great story and gameplay into one gripping adventure. Not played the 2nd one yet (bought it on Steam ages back) but I hear it's better than the first.
I noticed this last year as well. The final day of sales is a mass of the most recent games or popular sales from previous days,Last day of the Steam sale. Looks like all the games are from earlier in the sale.
