Ok wanted to make sure its not just Portal. I have first gen Mac Pro and Portal doesn't work due to graphics card. Does this mean all Steam games will have this issue before I go out buying?

No. All of Valve's Source games won't work, though. Just be sure to check the system requirements.

Ruddy nora that's a good deal. I bought these over the holiday sale when they were 50% too. One odd thing is that the OSX versions are better than the Windows ones. You get a menu bar on OSX and there are more options.

Yeah, I noticed that. I put them on my younger brother's laptop (which is always offline) and we can't even work out how to get them fullscreen.

Yea I think you need to use the F-keys, but I could only find documentation on it on the Steam forums.

What is the chance of Steam releasing the original "Deus Ex" for the Mac ?

That would be a question for Eidos, not Steam - I know it is confusing, but Steam is teh delivery vehicle, at the Mercy of various publishers. I certainly hope they DO release it.

Next to nothing. It was ported to OS 9, never to OS X. Aspyr had wanted to port it a long time ago but they could never get the rights for whatever reason.

I wish! But I can't see these coming out. Then again up until a few months ago I didn't see HL2 coming out for OSX so...

Not a sale as such but Sega have started to trickle their classic Mega Drive games to the Steam. Comix Zone and Altered Beast are the only ones on now. They're quite cheap too. And yes I know there is emulation but pfft to that. I'd love Sonic 1-3+Knuckles in my Steam library.

The game of the year edition of Batman: Arkham Asylum is on sale for 50% off.

From what I see if you bought the regular version on Steam previously it's being updated to this version. I played it a few months ago and can't recommend it highly enough. Just make sure you've got Windows and a capable computer.

Bought the Sega collection for PSP instead (£11 and it includes more games, silly Sega).
Was just about to post Batman too. I've heard good things but there's no way it could run well on my computer.
