Rockstar pack just £29.99 this week. They're doing individual sales too for each day and todays is;
GTA Vice City, £1.50!

Back when I bought the GTA games years ago, I couldn't find a method for using an Xbox controller with Vice City or GTA III. However (I mean it matters to some people like me ) San Andreas can be patched to work with an Xbox controller.

It looks like GBP prices have been more on par with USD prices lately. That must be nice for you Brits. This looks to be a good week on Steam.

It's always been quite good for us Brits, it's just the Euro folk who get royally screwed over.
Hoping they have that Midnight Club 2 on sale this week. That'd be a nice racing addition to my library.

Sadly the US Vice City (and everything else) starts at $9.99 ... but the whole package deal is pretty sweet!

Oh no they're just being rubbish. They're having randomised sales throughout the week for 2 hours each. Vice City was first, then Manhunt. The times are ridiculous - Manhunt was between 4am-6am GMT! I would have bought that too. There's a lot of backlash over this on the Rockstar group on Steam.

I don't know if it's a timed deal, but the GTA Classics is on sale 75% off for $7.49 USD.

This is GTA 1-3, San Andreas, and Vice City.

EDIT: It is a timed deal, 4 hours.

I'd recommend just keeping an eye on Steam right now. I got Bully: Scholarship Edition this morning for 75% off but it was only for a couple hours.

Was going to get Bully but I hear its a very bad port. Bought the GTA pack for the girlfriend. 25% off the Episodes was not cool though, I'd have snapped at 50%.

Same here on Bully, people are complaining even with a patched game, so I stayed away from that deal.

The Codemasters Racing Pack is 75% off this weekend. Five racing games for only $17.50 here in the states.

Oh yeah! I'm in racing heaven! my brother also picked up this deal. Unfortunately, I already had Dirt 2, so I just picked up Dirt 1, Fuel and Grid, all of which are surprisingly fun! In Fuel I went into free ride mode, and I swear I drove around for 1.4 hours and still never found the edge of the playing area, just how big is it? must be massive! Grid was pretty sweet, it's more of a street racing game, where Dirt 2 is off-road. Grid looks amazing, and driving is a lot of fun in it. I tried the drifting, and it's like grease on the wheels, but I got used to it and had a lot of fun. All-in-all, if you don't have these racing games, and even if you're mildly amused or interested with racing, grab them while they are this cheap. They are so worth more than what's being charged.

I thought Fuel was really fun to play, a lot of people don't like it and the metacritic rating is very low. It's very hit or miss with people! Personally I just like driving around exploring, haven't even done a race yet.
When I first played it I decided I'd head up to that big mountain on the map... it took me 45 minutes and it was just brilliant. It's so worth the price (£2.70 here) and then some.
GRID is great too. Shame it runs so bad on my old iMac :(.

Guild Wars (inc Trilogy) is 50% off. Me and the girlfriend just picked up a copy each. Heard good things about it!

I choked and bought the whole Rockstar pack for $42. I wanted the IV expansions and figured $20 more for the old GTAs plus Bully and Max Payne(s) was worth it. 17GB download for GTA IV expansion though......

They are stand alone (you don't have to launch GTA IV first), hence the size.

Civilization IV collection, 75% off. £6.25 of your finest British coins here, which is an offer I think I'll take up. Never played a Civ game before but I hear very good things.

$10 here in the US. Sweet deal ... I have the DVD version, but for the ability NOT to have to do the DVD install and then patch up to the latest to remove the DVD check ... I'm pretty much sold.

BTW - It is the same price on this week's Direct2Drive sale ... but I prefer the Steam install method.

I'm very happy to announce the very first Mac Steam sale. Through Monday you can get the Steam Play Indie Pack for only $20.

Also, Torchlight is 50% off.

ALSO, you can play Portal for FREE for the next two weeks. Get out and play Mac gamers.

CORRECTION: Portal IS free for the the next two weeks. If you create a Steam account you can get it for the low, low price of $0.

Darn I would definitely get Tropico 3 at that price if there was a Mac version on Steam.
