Fake or not, cancer sucks.
Yes it really does.

Steve has never been one for the pity train. The fact is, he is still alive. For how long, no one knows. Let's not feel sorry for Steve. His final epitaph has not been written yet. A weak body, does not equate to a weak mind. Steve probably does more on his worst days than any of us do on our best.
Well put.

Science and medicine haven't stood still. The chances of surviving any cancer have increased incredibly the past twenty years. 15 years ago, Steve would not have been here anymore, as the procedure he underwent to cure his cancer wasn't available then.
Agree.

It's really impressive how far we've come.

You must be blind, the background is one photo and the two people were taken out from another photo and mixed up into one, come on!

I don't think they would go through all this trouble just for that picture or can you give us any other proof that shows that you are correct and this is indeed the work of some photoshop artist...

The scene is backlit, which leads to a high contrast between the people and the background (which makes it look more cut-out). The light on their shoulders and necks is consistent with that back-lighting, and consistent with the shadow on the car.

The photo is further distorted as it seems to have been taken through the window of a passing car (you can see the bottom of the window at the bottom of the frame).

The photographer was lucky that Steve was wearing black, as that has increased the auto-exposure and resulted in the exposure on the faces correctly. If he had been wearing something light, the faces would probably have been in much greater shadow.

It all looks legit to me.

If you were going to go to the trouble of fabricating a picture like this, why on earth would you start off with a shot of an old woman?

Because the person who photoshoped the photo needed a frail-look person no matter its gender, perhaps only the hands and head belong to Steve, if you zoom in the photo you can see it, in the past I have seen others photos from tmz and they look fakes too like this one.

Damn. Good eye.

Now that you pointed them out, those flaws seem downright obvious.

How tall is the Toyota model in that picture? And how tall is Steve? If we knew the answers to these two questions, there would be no doubts at all to the authenticity of this paparazzi shot.

Several sites list Steve as 6'2". I can't tell what kind of Toyota that is though.

Looks fake - photoshop.
Why the "helper" is smiling to the camera?
Who is the "helper"? Any decent journalist will gather this info before using the "picture".
Do you really think that Steve will be in place like the one in the picture if he gets to be in that condition?
I mean, he has managed to held secrets very well about future Apple products.
Don't you think that he will be in a very private location, doing what he considers is the best for him, his loved ones and Apple?
His family and close people will surely avoid pictures like this to be taken.

That doesn't look like Steve Jobs at all?!? At least, that is a great contrast from all the keynotes I have been viewing on Youtube?

If there is one positive, at least SJ is still able to walk around, get some sunshine ect... if he were wheelchair bound or bed ridden that would be horrible.

I had an Aunt who was always so healthy, being in her early 50s and one day she found out she had cancer and died literally a month later. It is shocking how FAST these things can progress.

lol at everyone becoming photoshop experts overnight..

What? I've never even used it and I can tell this is a fake.

They took an image of Steve in his driveway and added to it to make him look like a corpse. (sort of like, airbrush in reverse :D ) right?

nice lads, these maggots of the Rag.

Find the original, and but this stupidity to rest

Sorry, but that's not their style. If it actually is PSed, someone else did it and TMZ was fooled and bought the photo from them.

Sites like TMZ and Perez Hilton ... are ****d up

I do not believe it is a picture of Steve Jobs ... probably some junkie hanging out front of TMZ

Sure looks like him to me...

I'm pissed at the photographer who invaded Steve's privacy. I'm pissed at TMZ for posting it.

Leave the guy alone. We know he is sick. Ffs what does any body get from seeing this?

And what if steve was fine and walking on the street.. Would you care if his picture was taken then? Sorry he's a public figure head.. No stopping the photo's

It sure seems that the guy on the right is posing for the pics ... who is he? does he work at TMZ?

IMO these pics are not Steve Jobs

Looks like him to me..

There has been, and continues to be, a prevailing and shocking level of denial about Jobs deteriorating health amongst the insensitive and flippant observers who post in this forum.

If one had stayed current with the ongoing news that has been printed about Mr Jobs condition, and done nothing more than a few Google searches to educate themselves, they would realize that his condition is in fact, grave.

Everyone thinks jobs will live forever.. Or they just can't believe he is sick and never got better.. Most of them are thinking "What can we do once our precious steve is gone?" I bet a lot of people won't buy apple products anymore when and if steve does pass away.. I guess they will loose all faith in the company when steve is gone..

The guy is personally worth over 5 Billion dollars ... I doubt someone's picking him up at the curb ... in a dress.

When your dying you don't care about any of that....

I'm a photoshop "expert" and there is nothing in that picture that looks fake.

That other picture running around showing the "inconsistencies" looks like a load of rubbish. I believe that whoever created that pic with the comments doesn't have a clue about photoshop.
