Dumbest Questions From Windows Users

OK I was wondering what the dumbest question a windows user has asked you.

A devout windows user I know just asked me the following question. "Do torrents still run if your computer is off..?" ..................yaaaaahh, obviously processors and hard drives can function with out power. That's PC's for you, I wish that our "inferior" macs could run without power as well.

This guy is a computer systems engineer at carleton university too!!.........I mean WHAT are they teaching people there?!?!?!? Sorry, i guess this shouldn't be such a big deal.....it's obvious that PC's can run better without their OS being booted.

Well as dumb as the other person sounds; you really couldn't figure out how to use a calculator?

Perhaps I wasn't clear...It's not that I couldn't figure out how to use the calculator, it was that the application for calculations on the phone was really bad.

I mean, really...why do I have to press five buttons in order to do anything besides basic arithmetic?

Any time anyone comes back with a remark like "Well, of course you can't figure out how to use it...you're a Mac user.", I like to trip them up with "So, what's your point?"

I basically just replied with "What the hell does that have to do with anything?" But they didn't really respond, so. *shrug*

Edit: Re-reading my post, the quote was actually supposed to be "Of course it doesn't make sense..." not "figure out how to use it." My bad.

I learned that I would need a converter for this operation since my computer is digital and the recorder is analog.
If I can not accomplish this by only using the Audacity software and my lap top, could someone please describe the least expensive procedure in accomplishing this task along with my lap top.

Least expensive? You care nothing about quality, only cost?
Prices range from about $30 on up to about 10 times that much or even much higher if you are looking are pro-quality audio gear. You have to balance performance and cost yourself.

But if you need "cheap" and easy to use with decent consumer level sound quality here it is:
