I am happy to report back, WORKING!
Really? Full 4K @ 60Hz? No weird tears on the screen like others have reported?

See for yourself!
Would steer away from 750TI. But try it anyways! Get a 760 or 770 to avoid trouble. That's awesome! But just to be clear, you didn't use MVC's hack, right? You are just using nVida's web drivers and the Macmini6,2 SMBIOS? Any other thing? I'm seriously thinking on buying that exact same monitor, and I currently have a 750Ti working properly with the web drivers.
Thanks for your help.
That's correct I have Macmini6,2 SMBIOS, and Nvidia's web driver "f" release (final) for yosemite.
What's strange is I was able to run the LG 31MU97 at 3840x2160 @ 60hz in 10.8.5 no doubt, with the 5,1 Mac Pro and GTX680, but only 50hz for 4096x2160.
The Asus PQ321Q would not work at anything above 1920x2160 in OS X with MST turned on.
I upgraded to a GTX 980 and now using the 4k LG 4096x2160 @ 60hz with all scaled options, it's pretty great!
Hi,
I also have an ASUS PQ321Q, no luck with 4k res @ 60Hz on my GTX 680 Mac. Do you use a normal GTX 980 in your MP and get 4k @ 60Hz out of the box without the very useful hints from MVC?
Thanks
I am using the EVGA 980 4GB SC (04G-P4-2982-KR). I just installed the latest Nvidia display and Quadro drivers and that's it. I am using the LG 31MU97, I actually have the PQ321Q but I am returning it.
They are both good monitors and pretty close, and I somewhat prefer the 16:9 aspect ratio and the Asus's 141ppi is more comfortable at full res on the eyes.
Here are the issues I had with the Asus.
1. I could not get it to run in MST mode correctly in any OS X version on the GTX 680, only SST worked, but 30hz is unusable, I dunno why they even sell monitors that run at 30hz
2. The sharpness and color compared to the LG is not as good, but it's not "bad". Saturation was where it was easy to tell the difference. The LG is noticeably sharper, since it's 150ppi vs. 141ppi. The asus color gamut has a narrower range of RGB.
3. Speaker buzz. There was some huge ground loop issue where I had to De-ground my speakers from 3 prong to 2 prong. Dangerous and potential fire hazard. Never seen this on any other monitor.
4. Only 3840x2160.
5. Flimsy stand, thing jiggles all the time.
Hi I've got trouble getting 4K at 60Hz working under Mac OS X (Yosemite)
In Bootcamp it works fine at 60Hz but in mac its locked to 24Hz and i can't change it because it's greyed out :/
Do you have a solution for this Problem ?
I read about changing of the .kext files, but didn't quiet understand what exactly I should change in the file
Thank's !!

Tell us about your setup. Mac, graphics card, monitor?
mhm but I thought 3840x2160 a 60fps was only possible through HDMI 2.0Titan doesn't have HDMI 2
mhm but I thought 3840x2160 a 60fps was only possible through HDMI 2.0
And I'm getting exactly this at my Samsung tv
Or is there a HDMI standard below HDMI 2.0 that supports 3840x2160 a 60fps ?
Thank's
Daniyo, I know this is quite the favor to ask, but could you try testing with the iMac 14,2 system definition when you have a little time to spare? It's the only system definition that has worked for my card, and according to the apple support page, it should work http://support.apple.com/kb/ht6008
Thanks in advance and sorry to bother you.
