11.6.4 still not fixed. Only worked when booted from OpenCore, when natively booted freezes on progress bar with no entry sign.

can opencore add patch to convert all kprintf to printf like this https://github.com/Piker-Alpha/debugMachKernel.sh

trying to read igdebug without serial/panic
What does without "serial/panic" mean?

The patch would have to be included as a quirk to work with arbitrary kernel versions since the distance between kprintf and printf may change.

Or you could make a patch in config.plist for a specific kernel.
Apply the patch to a copy of the kernel, then compare the modified kernel with the original to create the patch.

Consider trying FireWire kprintf?
Or you can add a serial port card which can even work for Thunderbolt Macs.

I was asked to post in here by MacSoundSolutions... I installed OCLP and Mac OS 12.7.3... no boot screen - monitor says something like "input not recognized" and then about a half second before the login screen appears I will see the black screen with white apple logo. I followed the instructions to install enableGOP and seem to have successfully done so, however there are no changes. Computer works fine, just no boot screen. Prior to 12.7.3 I had 10.14.6 installed and instead of "input not recognized" the monitor just acted like the computer wasn't on yet.
