Received mine last night.
Packaging for the mail was simply a thin envelope, but the product packaging is a double plastic and bullet proof...Much like the case itself.
In the package was the cover, docking thingy, pod stand, wipe, two screen protectors, docking port plug, and a 2" headphone jack 'extender'(?). Even the instructions/packing list didn't show this item. Not complaining, but what the heck is it for?
Since I have a tiny scratch in the glass of my touch (put in pocket and didn't know I had a little sand in it

), I elected to put on the screen protector. No issues, straight forward, and the piece of mind is well worth it.
Like the previous poster, the directions show the exo-skeleton being applied after the inner cover. I elected to install both at the same time. No issues. Within about 5 seconds I was done.
I was surprised to learn that the case is very solid. The "silicon" soft portion is much stiffer than I originally thought it would be. Also, the entire top edge/bezel is covered in the hard plastic. Very cool indeed, as it provides a nice tactile feel without feeling rubbery. The Touch with this case slips in and out of my pocket with ease.
I'm really digging the docking port cover. I've always felt that was the most vulnerable spot on the pod for dust/water/lint/etc ingress. It fits very snug and contours very well with the case itself. Nice touch imo.
Lastly I really like how the volume controls and the sleep buttons are raised and integrated with the case itself. I'm a big guy with big hands and always found adjusting the volume a little tricky. Previously, adjustment involved a close look, a finger nail and deliberate pushing. With the Rebel it's as simple as grabbing and pushing. No muss no fuss.
Overall for an external, go anywhere case, this thing rocks, and I highly recommend it.
In the end I'm a little mixed on covering my Touch. Sure it's now fully protected and I can breathe easier, but having my Touch naked the last couple of weeks was nice in that I could see it in all its beauty and glory!

Down the road I might also get a leather slip-in/out case for my less active days...Just so I can marvel at the cool thin-ness of the thing.
