Just got mine in the mail last night, and after reading through some posts I thought the installation would be tough. It took me all of 1 minute to 'install' the case on my ipod touch. I feel like it was too easy. Looking at the instructions, it makes it seem like the 'exo-skeleton' needed to be attatched seperatly. Mine was already hooked up, and all I had to do was slip the case on. With that said, the thing looks really nice!! I also opted not to put the protective film on my screen.

i've got 1 on order, looking forward to it arriving to my touch can be brought out in public!!!!

any reason for leaving the screen unprotected?

No particular reason. I dont really take my ipod out, and it usually sits on a desk or in my hands when I am playing with it.. I guess if i were to take it out with me I would put the film on. As of now, I dont put my Ipod in my pockets, so the risk of scratching the screen is REALLY low. That and the screen is supposed to be scratch resistant as it is.

How do you like the case so far? How does it fee/look? Any problems with it? I'm thinking about getting one but not sure if I should.

Do the screen protectors that come with the case cover from the very bottom too the very tip top. Or only the active part of the screen.

Got it yesterday, and I really couldn't be more happy with it.

Looks great, feels great, and is amazingly sturdy.

I received my RebelTouch yesterday and it definitely was easy to install. The clip that came with my pogo stylus even fits around the case. I did not use the screen protectors, opting to use the Zagg invisible shield instead. My only beef with the case, not that big of a deal by any means, but I wish it came with a clip on the back to stand it up horizontally. It comes with a stand, but I really don't feel like carrying around a little stand around with me everywhere I go. Other than that, I highly recommend this sharp case.

I'm considering getting this case as well, but I read online by alot of people that for some cases having a clear skin over the iPod itself makes it too big for some of the tighter cases. I have a BodyGuard myself, but was concerned to get this case that it would not fit. So does the case still fit okay even with the Invisible Shied and do you have the entire touch covered?

Thanks for everyones input, I definitely plan to get some of these!

Received mine last night. :D

Packaging for the mail was simply a thin envelope, but the product packaging is a double plastic and bullet proof...Much like the case itself.

In the package was the cover, docking thingy, pod stand, wipe, two screen protectors, docking port plug, and a 2" headphone jack 'extender'(?). Even the instructions/packing list didn't show this item. Not complaining, but what the heck is it for?

Since I have a tiny scratch in the glass of my touch (put in pocket and didn't know I had a little sand in it :(), I elected to put on the screen protector. No issues, straight forward, and the piece of mind is well worth it.

Like the previous poster, the directions show the exo-skeleton being applied after the inner cover. I elected to install both at the same time. No issues. Within about 5 seconds I was done.

I was surprised to learn that the case is very solid. The "silicon" soft portion is much stiffer than I originally thought it would be. Also, the entire top edge/bezel is covered in the hard plastic. Very cool indeed, as it provides a nice tactile feel without feeling rubbery. The Touch with this case slips in and out of my pocket with ease.

I'm really digging the docking port cover. I've always felt that was the most vulnerable spot on the pod for dust/water/lint/etc ingress. It fits very snug and contours very well with the case itself. Nice touch imo.

Lastly I really like how the volume controls and the sleep buttons are raised and integrated with the case itself. I'm a big guy with big hands and always found adjusting the volume a little tricky. Previously, adjustment involved a close look, a finger nail and deliberate pushing. With the Rebel it's as simple as grabbing and pushing. No muss no fuss.

Overall for an external, go anywhere case, this thing rocks, and I highly recommend it.

In the end I'm a little mixed on covering my Touch. Sure it's now fully protected and I can breathe easier, but having my Touch naked the last couple of weeks was nice in that I could see it in all its beauty and glory! ;)
Down the road I might also get a leather slip-in/out case for my less active days...Just so I can marvel at the cool thin-ness of the thing.

For those of you who have received the case, are you using apple earphones or third party earphones? I have a feeling my Sony headphones won't reach all the way into the headphone jack when I get the case. But I beleive this is the reason they provide the headphone jack extender.

I just received the case on Monday, in black. Took a few minutes to install, pretty simple to do. The screen protectors are for the full face of the device, not just for the active/touch portion.

So far, I really like it. It is quite durable, and actually has a pretty cool look to it without looking bulky. It will not fit over any kind of body shield, because the case fits TIGHT.

Also, for those wondering if third party headphones fit, I am using a pair of Sennheiser CX-300b in-ear earbuds and they fit just fine (they have an L-shaped connector). However I'm sure some headphone plugs might be a tight fit, thus the need for the extender.

If you have any questions about the case (or the IPod Touch 2G for that matter) please feel free to ask.

How are the screen protectors that come with the rebel touch case? Easy to apply without bubbles?

They are fairly good protectors, it took me a while to get out a couple bubbles but once that was done it was fine.

Also, make sure the screen protector is exactly centered, or else the snug-fitting case will push it up.

Purchase confirmation?

To anyone who's purchased one, how long did it take for SwitchEasy (not PayPal) to provide any kind of confirmation of your order? I purchased a RebelTouch around noon ET today, and still haven't heard anything. Not sure if that's typical, or cause for concern.

They did not send me one single email, not even a shipping confirmation. I obviously gave them the right one, since I used paypal. But I still got the package from california to michigan in less than a week

Its a really nice case, only thing is that the screen protector looked good wne i put it on, but after putting on the case it kinda pushed air bubbles under the screen protector, so i just took it off

The touch rebel case is by far the beat iPod touch that will ever grace the earth, don't get me wrong, but I must disagree with evryone about the installation..it was extremely hard for me and I'm just glad it's over..but as far as acade goes..my iPod looks so bad ass it's unbeleivable

Its ashame they're not available on the Canadian Market yet (or at least no where im aware of)

Canada sucks for tech stuff.
It's probably never going to make it here.
We really have a poor selection when it comes to accessories.

Huh? You have to order it off their web-site. Are you saying they won't ship to CND? If so, they would be stupid not to include the international market.

It says this:

Currently available for U.S Residents Only.
For European orders Click here.

But, when ordering, it has a drop down box of countries
and sure enough, Canada is listed. So you can order one, I wonder if they'll be available at retailers. Does anyone know of these for sale somewhere other then the website?
