This is what I’m understanding as well. It seems crazy. If I'm reading the fine print on the Apple iphone 14 page correctly, then the Apple Trade In and the carrier (Tmobile) deals may stack. Is that others' interpretation? That you'll get the instant Apple checkout discount AND the 24-month bill rebate?
Edit: asking because it seems fairly unbelievable even though it's written as "and" in the fine print.
I believe like magenta maxI have the T-Mobile Unlimited Freedom plan (originally with Sprint). Any idea which category this plan would fall under for the trade-in deal?
This is how I got my 13 pro max. Hoping they do it again as well since I still have EIP on my 12 pro max with T-Mobile.Best Buy had some killer deals last year, $800 for my 12 pro and then all the 13 pros were marked down by $100.Hopefully they do that again, but who knows. Keep an eye out for it, it didn’t require magenta max last year.
Saw this:
Starting this Friday, September 9, new and existing T-Mobile and Sprint customers, including businesses, can choose from the following offers:
And at Metro by T-Mobile, starting September 16, anyone can get $200 off the iPhone 14 via instant rebate when they switch and verify ID on a qualifying plan!
- iPhone 14 Pro on Us (or up to $1000 off any iPhone 14 series) with 24 monthly bill credits plus tax when trading in an eligible device on Magenta MAX; Business Unlimited Advanced, Ultimate or Ultimate+ for iPhone; or equivalent Sprint plan.
- HALF OFF the iPhone 14 Pro (or up to $500 off any iPhone 14 series) with 24 monthly bill credits plus tax when trading in an eligible device on almost all T-Mobile plans.
- Pick up one iPhone 14 and get a second on Us (up to $700 off) with 24 monthly bill credits plus tax when adding a line on almost all T-Mobile plans.
- Pick up any new Apple watch and get $200 off the second when adding a new watch line.
This is what I’m understanding as well. It seems crazy.
“Credit comprised of (i) Apple instant trade-in credit at checkout and (ii) T-Mobile monthly bill credits applied over 24 months.”
It means the price break you given is applied over 24 month period each month. It also means that if you exit early they charge back the price breaks and you must pay the full cost of the device before they unlock it.I'm sorry to ask this, but what does that mean exactly?
That’s exactly what I’m doing.Thinking about trading my 13PM for a regular 14 pro
Hmm. Shows +$15 per line for me to upgrade to Max on the iOS T-Mobile app. So $100 otd for 3 lines or $145 for max plus all taxes n fees. I wonder what that’ll add too. Hrmmm. I got the tmo one when it was buy two get one free. Crazy I only use 1 line though but my kid is 8 and I figure at some point she will get a phone. Makes no sense to get rid of them, the lines won’t get cheaper 4 yrs from nowupgraded from the One plan to the Magenta Max plan to get the $1000 deal. Only $10 more per month with two lines. Going from an iPhone 11 Pro to an iPhone 14 Pro Max 512gb in Black.
I thought it was $1000 else anyone else who isn’t on magenta max gets the regular trade in value of $720 ?Anyone know what the IiPhone 14 deal is for Magenta Max customers?
Be careful trading in with T-Mobile. I send them my 11 Pro Max to get my 12 Pro Max 2 years ago and they tried the old "we didn't get it bs" about 2 months after I sent it in and tried to get me to pay full price. They gave me the runaround for about 4 weeks until they finally located it. I don't trust the independent company they use and will never do the mail in trade in again with anymore. My 13 Pro Max is paid off. Should I trade in with Apple to get $720 off or should I trade in with my carrier (T-Mobile) and get $1,000 off ($705 discount and $294 bill credits)?
