Apple site says it'll be $720 trade-in value for my phone if I keep my Magenta Max 55+ plan. I'd get the full $1,000 if I switch to the regular Magenta Max plan.
I had the full amount during pre-order and I canceled to get it in store. I didn't get that offer when I tried to reorder it today.
Had a T-Mobile phone purchased through apple on magenta max 55 plan . Got my 1k off the price with my 12 pro trade in .It wasn’t going to be here until mid October . I canceled the order from apple to pick one up in store tomorrow and now they aren’t giving me the same deal and only offer $500 even though T-Mobile says the plan qualifies for the $1k off . Pretty upset right now
I did it all on the phone with T-Mobile because of all the issues on the first morning of preorders.
Same thing happened to me . I’ve talked to apple and T-Mobile . Run around from both with no resolution
I’ve called both T-Mobile and apple . They both blame the other for the promotion and won’t do anything to help.
Sucks, I rather not pay $11.66 more per month. If you here anything let me know. I wish I'd just tried to get my old order switched to store pickup.

I should have tried the same . T-Mobile wants 15.80 a month when I was getting it for 0 before . Apple now wants 25 a month

Seems like false advertising to me since it says On a Magenta Max rate plan and the Magenta Max 55+ is a Magenta Max rate plan. We all need to complain of false advertisement. They'll hopefully fix it when they see how much money they're losing.
It isn't false advertising. I got the full amount. You canceled your phone order and bought elsewhere. I imagine that's the issue.
No kidding . When I call T-Mobile they tell me that the 55+ plan is the same thing and gets the $1000 off. T-Mobile says get the same deal fe them and pay the tax on the full price but want to charge $15 for 24 months ?
I canceled and tried to order through Apple again.
I didn’t buy anywhere else I just canceled my order and wanted to change it to in store pickup . Now they changed what they are paying . Even though T-Mobile says the 55 plus plan is the same and qualifies for the full discount
