Is you stated trade in value equal to $15 times 24?

As in what you'll pay if you don't trade in your trade in?

With my wife's and my orders, we're trading and buying different phones, but both of the $xx for 24 months equalled our individual phone trade in values.
 
Just got it. Booting it up and just playing with the iLand while it starts up. eSim setup failed the first time, but when the iCloud backup took place it all got connected. It didn't give me the prompt to download the update, I had to go to settings and update it myself.

First off - the buy-from-Apple and buy-from-T-Mobile are two different promotions. While they should be the same it seems Apple doesn't consider the 55+ to qualify. Maybe it does, maybe it doesn't. Even so, I ordered from T-Mobile for better assurance of the deal not going sideways.

the $15 might ad up to what they are offering for the phone . Does that mean it should drop to 0 a month after I pay taxes ? It just shows the phone as being $42 a month but crossed off and $15 for 24 months

They were the same a few days ago 🤷‍♂️
 
Package showed processing all the way up til about 1:30pm EST today. I get a notification saying UPS attempted to reach me and now i need to pick up my package at a local access point next business day. Thats fine and all but they never attempted to reach me.

I live in a apartment complex and maybe its just a pain in the butt to locate folks, especially when a signature is required. I did ask them to either leave with management or to use the parcelpending system we have, but no luck.

When i check the delivery updates now, it says the package was out for delivery at 3:34am.

We'll see what happens on monday. Congrats to all who got their device already.

9/8 after the apple event i decided to give eSIM a go on my Xs Max. It wasn't a piece of cake, but i am technical and it was fine. My 70+yr old mom and dad wouldn't be able to figure it out. I'd help them and they'd be on their way. I wish it worked better/easier. It SHOULD though going from my Xs Max to my 14PM when that comes in as apple has a eSIM xfer option in iOS 16.

I think what happens is the promo already set up for $27/mo credit leaving $360 balance.
So they show that as $15/mo over 24 months.
When your phone gets traded in, then they'll assign that as a $15/mo credit and thus zero everything out.

We shall see.

2022 Apple Trade P32 has been different from 2022 Apple Retail Trade P8 the whole time AFAIK.

Same sort of trade in values, but they're different actual offers. Note the latter specifies Apple stores or Apple.com

Either way I'm guessing Apple didn't code properly for the 55+ plans. I didn't feel like risking it though.

FWIW - I placed orders for my wife's 14 and my 14pro on Wednesday evening this week. My 14p just showed up, looks like my wife's 14 is due on Monday.

Despite "Signature Required" the phone was left on my front step. Thanks UPS. :rolleyes:

Fortunately I have a furry four footed UPS truck detector who alerted me to the truck's presence... 🐶
