There is essentially ZERO T-mobile coverage for calls or data at my HOUSE!… I can’t believe that in todays cellular world, on the peninsula of the Bay Area, in a very nice town I can find a total dead spot where there is useless coverage.

Local topography can cause that sort of stuff - at my house in the suburbs of a major city I have good AT&T and TMO coverage, but Verizon is useless. Apparently the VZW tower is on the other side of a small ridge and thus no signal here even though there's good VZW signal nearby.

As for your situation, see if the issue is localized to your house or more widespread. I find the TMO Wifi calling to be quite solid, so that could perhaps help you.

Best of luck.

I would have thought the same, but I’m in a flat town of mostly one story SFM. It’s odd.. and a bummer

Welp my trade in was supposed to arrive yesterday to Assurance. Been sitting still in Lewisville, TX for 48 hours now. Hopefully USPS figures it out.

Two days ago, my T-Mobile/Sprint order status for a purple 256GB 14 PM said shipping Oct 6 - Nov1. That same afternoon I got a notice that it was shipping and I'll get it today (UPS confirmed).

According to reddit r/t-mobile threads I've seen this is pretty common each year - so many trade ins arrive in such a short time that the destination gets overwhelmed at scanning stuff in as delivered. I'd give it a good week or two before being concerned.

Originally Placed order on 14th - 14 pro max 128gb and later chose to cancel (because I decided to go with the 256gb instead) Order was still in pending status (Backorder) when I called to cancel - was confirmed over the phone by an order specialist that the order was indeed canceled.(This was 2 days ago) So last night I received an email that the supposedly canceled 128gb is preparing to ship. On the phone half the day with them today, and of course it is too late for them to stop the delivery - so now I have to take it to UPS tomorrow once delivered to be returned back to shipper. It's been a nightmare with them all week regarding this. The agent stated today that the refund would be restored back to my account once they received the phone back - I said no way, It's not my fault you guys messed this up - talk to your supervisor - I want my refund asap please! So on the phone with them half hour later agent said they are refunding me an advancement within 48hrs of today. We'll see how that goes... I've been beyond patient with them all this week, but today was the last straw.

Oh my gosh sounds like a headache. Thank you for sharing!

That may be the case when doing a trade in-store for an in-stock phone, but wasn't the case when preordering. I paid tax on the full amount of the new phones. With Apple the trade in credit was taken off the total and tax would've been on the difference. Unfortunately Apple chooses not to recognize the 55+ Magenta Max plans as valid for the promo so I did my order via T-Mobile.

@Cinimod1000 the program is intended to keep customers with T-Mobile and keep them on the higher tier service plan. So they spread the rebate out over two years - your bill goes up but is then offset by credits. You shouldn't end up paying any more than your current bill, though you would pay sales tax up front. At least it's just 24 months and not 36...
Thank you very much for the explanation. I think my thick skull now understands the process. A shame those on the MAX 55+ plan cannot do a trade directly with Apple. Then this would not apply and I would not actually pay any monthly charge over and above my normal bill.
The example I gave was for my wife's 11Pro. But when I do the same for my 13 Pro Max, they'll give me an instant bill credit of $525, then charge me an extra $21.87/month for 24 months over and above my bill - for the 14 Pro 128GB model. Infuriating way to do it. Guess I could just leave the $525 credit with them, and continue to pay my bill as normal each month, and the system would then automatically deduct the $21.87 out of the credit from the trade.
Or maybe I'll just trade with Apple and pay the difference up front - and be done with it. First world problems.... :)
Thanks again to everyone for helping me understand the T-Mobile way - to keep you onboard without actually signing a 2 year contract.......

Could be worse, AT&T and Verizon pay credits over thirty six months not twenty four... 👴

But yeah, they don't want to spend hundreds of dollars subsidizing new phones just for folks to walk away...

On the phone with an order specialist couple days ago (Long story see my previous reply in this thread) and he said the 256gb iPhones should be the first to be re-stocked and shipped out to customers (This week) My expected ship date hasn't changed since I placed my order on the 18th for Pro Max 256gb - Still says 9/17 - 9/24

Edit: Label created on 9/24 with 9/26 ETA del date

Mine landed on my doorstep 10 minutes ago. Hooray!

Is there a lot of movement in 512GB models?
Wonder if that’s the reason why my 9/9 order is still “pending”.

Did you report this to T-Mobile? I had poor reception and called them. They supposedly checked it out but also sent me a signal booster which got me to 61 Mbps. Live in same general area.

I’m about to call them, but sadly I’m not really that interested in putting a mini-cell in the house (if that is what you mean). it’s a bummer that I can go a couple blocks east, west or south and it’s pretty much fine. WTDWTD

Are everybody’s trade in’s going ok? Has anybody brought to a store or all mail in?
I've went to two stores to turn in old one, they both gave me shipping labels instead, some reason I don't trust the mail in process. A friend of mine was able to turn hers in

Make sure you're going to corporate stores not third party retailers.

Also apparently the policy changed somewhat recently and not everyone know they can accept the trade in.

They were corporate stores. One of them gave me some crap about how 10% of the time it works and to ship it in. Second one said system isn’t letting him take it in.

My trade-in never got to delivered on USPS, but I got a text saying the received, processed, and approved the credits.

We went into T-Mobile earlier this week. For three phones ordered and the trade ins set up. One came, waiting on two more. While it gives me the shipping label, I’d much rather go back to the store and do the trade in. Don’t really like the idea of mailing them. Any luck with this? I swear I saw on the website somewhere that we could do so.

After receiving the phone via UPS earlier in the day, I went to the store to port my number and traded in the old phone at the same time. No issues, I got a printout confirming they had accepted it.

I chatted today and they said we can do the trade in in store since we bought it there. So waiting for the other two phones to show up (shipping label created Friday evening. But no updates yet). Then we’ll go in. Hopefully they don’t push back a lot.

All, please forgive me if this has been answered already in this discussion, but is it possible to take advantage of T-Mobile's "Get One on Us" promotion if I buy the iPhone at an Apple Store? I currently have one on order through T-Mobile, but with a very long quoted wait time. I'm hoping I can find one sooner at an Apple Store and get the same promotion that way. Possible?

We were able to take the phones in in store no problem. Already reflecting on our account. Whew.
