It is too long, but I figured why not pay the lower monthly fee for a few months and then pay the rest off before the 36 months is up. That’s what I might end up doing.
They told me in a DM that you can still use Jump on this and once half is paid off you can get a new phone. Im thinking of switching to Tmobile and would be ok with 36 months as long as I could switch when half is paid off.
Anything special to get Jump or is that for everyone?
I’m not sure how JUMP would work for new customers, but I have the old JUMP where I have to pay 50% of the phone off to upgrade. Hopefully it’s the same way for the 36 month plan.
What’s weird is I got mine in a lump sum. $247 up front and $53 coming on a prepaid card. In the fine print on the promo page it clearly said a one time payment but T-Mobile was promoting it as bill credits.
I got the best/worst of the offer for my 6S+ when I was trying to order mine at 2pm on Friday. First it said $250 in bill credits and when I finally got to payment page for taxes,it kicked me out. Started over and same result on 2nd attempt. Or 3rd attempt,it said lump sum of $121 and 0 bill credits. So I called and the agent applied the $250 in bill credits and waived other charges. He also verified unlocked when paid in full which I expected.
T-Mobile is actually very good to work with most of the time. I’ve had a couple issues but they’re are very friendly!

No one knows right now. Gruber pointed it out on Twitter on Friday that the only cases they are promoting were 3rd party, so even he hasn’t heard a little birdie. There was a leaked clear silicon case a few weeks ago that’s that’s all anyone has heard.
My label is showing in MyUPS, was created yesterday, however there is something curious. The label was created at 11am Central, but then at 8pm, another label for an identically weighing package was created also from T-Mobile and for my address. I only ordered a single phone so I have no idea what’s up.
Oddly enough I preordered two iPhone XRs for both of our lines but a third shipment from T-Mobile of the same exact weight showed up as well.
Maybe they're sending me a third phone by mistake? I doubt it but how hilarious would that be?
i said this on another thread and got shredded for it - the XR is not meant for people who hang out on macrumors all day.
are there plenty of people here who will buy it? sure. but it's the mass market phone, while Xs and Xs Max are for power users.
I just ordered a few hours ago after the reviews came out. I wonder if I will get mine launch day. It has next day air but said shipped by 10/26
The XR is positioned for the average person, as in 95% of cell users who don’t give a crap about this stuff.
Anybody’s ship yet? I got charged this morning so hopefully it’ll ship and be here Friday. The ship dates on the site are now 11/7-11/20
Mine too. It just says "Shipment ready for UPS" and it doesn't have a delivery date yet, but it is in the system.
I placed my order for a Black 128GB at 1:30 this morning and while the T-Mobile site still shows processing, UPS My Choice has a tracking number in the system. Just the label has been created, not in transit just yet.
