T-Mobile also notes that there is a $0 down option available for the 64GB iPhone XS on EIP. This is available to “well-qualified customers”.

As a reminder, T-Mobile is also offering up to $300 in savings when you buy an iPhone XS or iPhone XS Max (or an iPhone X, iPhone 8, or iPhone 8 Plus) and trade in an iPhone. You’ll need to buy your iPhone on EIP, have a voice plan, and trade in an iPhone that’s functional and fully paid off:

  • $300 offer value: iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, or iPhone 8 or iPhone 8+
  • $200 offer value: iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus
  • $100 offer value: iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone SE, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus

Yeeeeeesh, I bet those are the down payment amounts I'd have to pay if I wanted a new phone. I paid $429.99 down last November for my 256GB X.

There are gonna be a lot of sticker-shocked T-Mobilers tonite. I can almost guarantee that some of you who were told you qualified for certain pricing won’t once the iPhones go live. Hopefully it’s minimal, but TMO’s customer service reps say all sorts of misinformed things, unfortunately.

I'm buying mines out right, do we get these day one if order early enough?

Totally done with JOD. Just was told I would have to pay $379 down plus taxes for iPhone XS Max. I paid $279 plus taxes down on my current iPhone X. Phones are just too expensive for JOD and they should just rid of the program. Going through Apple Upgrade Program in the future whenever I want a new iPhone. Who agrees?

Yup everyone is getting different answers. Don't think anyone will know until the system offers the orders.

Yeah I just called for the first time and the rep told me I'd just have to pay $99.99 for the XS Max and my payments would be $41 a month. I'm skeptical whether this is true or not. I'm on EIP and I still owe $71 on my X to have it paid off 50 percent. So I guess I'll call back at 3 and see what they say. I'd definitely pay the $99.99 but not the $379.

It's just straight up games...they told me I've been with them for 2.5 years now and that their system generates what that customer's down payment would be. Its absurd. JOD is killed.

I'm getting errors when selecting my iPhone X to Jump! as I saw earlier today.

Ordered the iPhone XS Gold on the site at 1:51 AM! $0 downpayment (excluding tax).
Preorder went smoothly just like last year. It seems T-mobile opens 10 minutes early.

Anyone getting it successfully via phone? Rep told me not live yet. JOD do have to call.
