I wish I would have started sooner. When I was using Android it was even worse, I was upgrading 2-3 times per year because I was never happy with a phone. The iPhone 7+ was the first smartphone I stayed with for a full year. I’ve since been completely sucked into the Apple ecosystem lol.

I was charged on my card this (Tuesday) morning.
I just checked the EIP page on my account and saw the XS listed on there with the status of “Active-Shipped”.
No tracking number has been received yet either from T-Mo or the UPS account.
 
Funny thing about my account, I can't open the EIP page and keep giving me error so I reported to them and they upgrade my account to Super Well Qualified :D :D :D

So at least now I can get the iPhone with less down payment and a little higher monthly :D :D

As stated in a separate comment, I started with the 7+, so I wouldn’t know about that. I also don’t know how UPS does it, but I remember several threads discussing it for the pre-orders I have been a part of and everyone got their phones on launch day if they ordered early enough. I was one of those who got a credit on my account afterward, since I paid for next day shipping.

This is why I think they use the black boxes with the pink T's.

A box with a shipping label that has an iPhone in it is treated the same way as a box with an identical shipping label that doesn't have an iPhone in it. If T-Mobile are really waiting until tomorrow or Thursday to start shipping out phones, UPS are just gonna pay attention to the shipping label and that's it. If it says ground shipping then that's exactly what they'll do, ship it via ground.

With that being said, I really do want to believe you because I want my phone on launch day... I just don't have much faith in T-Mobile now that they've already printed my ground shipping label.

Happens every year and phones show up.

I’ve had ground on preorder before and have received at launch. Patience young one.

Must be a lot of orders still coming in or people chatting with reps about their shipping. Can't get on the T-mobile site right now.

I was here for the 7. I preordered a 7 plus jet black, the same phone I’m using right now actually.
