I initially tried preordering online, but the moment I saw they wanted to charge for overnight shipping i decided to have a t-force rep do the order. Went trough the whole process, when it came to him asking if I wanted to place order I said yes, but that I wanted free overnight delivery. He was glad to do it, because I am sure he got commission on that.

I did mine over the phone, so i'm assuming the same ideas would apply.. Either way, at this point its starting to sound like more trouble than it's worth. I'd rather not fight T-mobile over a restock fee so I may just end up sulking and waiting for my Monday delivery.

This isn’t true. You can refuse the shipment and it will go right back to T-Mobile and you will be refunded in full.

It’s not yours until you sign for it. That’s why you have it held at UPS and don’t let them drop it at your door.

Tmobile employee told me that that's not the case if you signed the agreement attached to the phone. I don't think he's correct, but I don't know what's correct either hahaha

its not even like the customer service is bad perse its just that all the agents have no ideaa what the hell is going on and answers vary from agent to agent its so frustrating.

Exactly what I just told them... The idea of pre-order doesn't make sense through T-Mobile and EVERY representative has their own version/procedure. Nothing is standard.

I called to cancel one of my JOD orders and 611 told me I can’t cancel but if I refuse shipment the phone will be returned and I’ll be refunded in full.

Anyone have any clue what the stock is gonna be like tomorrow with the max? Might take my chances in the store, and tell them to shove the preorder up their you know where.

I still believe that they will deliver tomorrow (it happened to my friend on Note9), they did the origin scan midnight and deliver the next day noon in Los Angeles. But you may request store credit for this "inconvenience" and lesson learned to not do it though T-Mobile anymore. I have 2 lines and always do my Samsung though the manufacturer website and believe me, they are more reliable. Most of these T-Mobile reps are new and have no clue what they are doing or about their policies.

UGH. Just got the Origin scan. Ground shipping and will be here Wednesday. TMo really screwed the pooch on this one. Tried to use the app, and it didnt work, so had to call in, wasnt offered any other shipping, and wasnt told that the app or website was free 2nd day. Assumed, since it was a preorder, that Id get it Friday. Not a happy customer.
whend you place your order?

If you were JOD or EIP, they won't let you buy in the store unfortunately.. The year I got screwed with the ground shipment thing, I went to a store, they had a phone, and the rep started to do it but the system wouldn't let her because of my existing order. Although I guess you could do full-price.

Yeah I did mine as a first time JOD setup.. The whole experience ordering through T-mobile has been less than stellar:

1) T-Mobile app would keep looping me back to homepage everytime I tried to order an Xs, gave this up
2) Website on computer ordered fine, but then I realized they got my address wrong even though I changed it
3) Had to call and have them completely cancel the order and re-do it with correct address, talking to some guy who "somehow" got the job at T-mobile by calling me bruh and cracking stupid jokes and talking in a non-professional way.. Promised me overnight shipping and waived the fee, clearly gave me ground. Also promised my new Apple Watch would show up on Friday, it's set for October 20th delivery.

I'll never order from T-mobile again.

As a ground service? next day air yes... Ground, very difficult.

Well, finally got my origin scan, my phone will be delivered Friday via ground!

Where are you located?

As much as I want to believe it, I honestly don't know about this... A lot of people in the Southwest are getting delivery dates of 9/24-26. The reddit page is full of people getting those dates as well. Those with ground getting 9/21 delivery are those that live really close to the distribution center. Maybe the Note 9 was luck...? I honestly don't know, but now I'm no longer hoping for the best

Hit or miss. Doesn't seem like demand for the Xs and Xs Max is as high as the X was.

Hey all, sorry for the potentially silly question but asking on behalf of my brother. He pre-ordered a 64GB Gold Max on Saturday afternoon from T-Mobile. In the app, it's listed as "Your Delivery Is Being Processed" and Shipping by 9/21, with no tracking information. Is he definitely out of luck for a delivery tomorrow?

I tried searching through this thread for an answer but came up short - apologizes if I missed something. Thanks!

Don’t go to AT&T. I spent 18 years with them and switched to T-Mobile recently. AT&T is the absolute worst when it comes to iPhone pre order.

Left AT&T for T-mobile because of iPhone preorder difficulties... Now T-mobile is throwing one in my face hahaha

Departure scan 4:23 Eastern from Louisville, KY / 9/21 Expected delivery- Pickup at CC

I’m the exact same, NJ. Ground shipping Xs max 64 silver delivery date 9/24 ground shipping ordered through phone. Just got a scan 10 minutes ago.

Also I got a message from a friend who’s a manager at T-Mobile store in NJ and he said they are not going to have any phones tomorrow.
Our local store got theirs yesterday. Only 64s though he said.
