Carrier T-Mobile iPhone X/8 Pre-Order and Dispatch Thread

Hey everybody!
I’ve been reading this thread for a few days, and as a recent T-MOBILE switcher I was kind of freaked out to read about previous iPhone launches and how bad they were.
I don’t know if it’s dumb luck, but I had decided to just sit this thing out and wait until demand died down, but then around 1030am Eastern Daylight time Friday I decided to see how long the wait was up to on the TMO site.
Imagine my surprise when I punched in an order for a 64GB silver and it took it!
I’ve got a 7+ and my wife has a 6+ so I figured trade hers in and we both get an upgrade!
I’ve only been a customer for two months so I wasn’t surprised I had a down payment required of 279 plus tax. I’ve only used about 32GB of my 128 on this phone, so 64 should be fine.
So three hundred bucks off, a status of shipped as of this evening, and I’m shocked beyond belief. It was easier placing my preorder this time than any other, and so far no hiccups.
The over 55 plan got me over to TMO, and this makes me even happier I switched!!
I hope everyone has an excellent delivery day, and enjoys the heck out of their new X’s!

I ordered about 8:50AM Central Time. Silver 64GB. Got a 11/3-11/10 date. No down payment on JOD. Not sure how I will know when my card is charged since there is no payment.
Im in the same boat as you. Lol. I was thinking about waiting until everything calmed down since im on JOD but woke up at 5am PST and the silver was still available for launch day delivery. I was so suprised because everywhere on the internet they have been saying this phone would be backorded until next year so I hopped right on board.
I called in and ordered a 64GB Silver at 2:58 am EST, $0 down JoD, they didn't ask for a credit card. It now shows shipped.
T-Mobile still doesn't say shipped for me but I have a package on my UPS dashboard now!!
At first I thought people were getting "shipped" status changes because they were on the east coast. But this contradicts my theory. I got the same model (64 GB Silver) and signed my EIP at 12:25 AM PST and no "shipped" status. What gives? :-/
EDIT: 2 min later, status changed to shipped, lol
Me too. Maybe a wave just released. Go check UPS My Choice if you're curious people!
didn't get my order in until like 3:40 am EST. Got a 11/3 estimate and already got my UPS tracking info.

iPhone launches here on macrumors have gotten crazier every year. Theres really nothing out of the ordinary with tmo regarding preorders that other carriers/ retailers don’t experience at the same rate.
The thing that gets me most about these threads are that its the SAME exact people crying over things that haven’t happened yet. I mean people are literally tracking flights and then coming to this thread to cry about THEIR phone POSSIBLY not being on that particular flight.
I don’t know when but my 256GB SG has finally shipped!
Well I just checked the UPS app and mine shows up for Friday delivery. T-Mobile still shows 11/3-11/10 and pre-order status. Looks like I am getting it Friday!
I’m so sad mine won’t ship until the first but they put the order on hold and I get to keep my preorder spot.
