Yeah as people have said already, T-Mobile has no knowledge of phones in China. T-Mobile give Apple regular updates with how many phones they need and in what configurations and that's it, the rest is up to Apple. The phones land in Louisville along with a roster of what's inside the boxes and that's how T-Mobile knows how many more orders they can fulfill -- in fact they don't even know the frequency at which they'll receive phone shipments or in what color/storage, Apple sends whatever they want to send to T-Mobile. If they only receive 10,000 SG 256GB X's on a given day, they'll assign/package each phone in order of pre-order and store them in their warehouse until shipment day. At least that was the case with the 6/Plus, I spoke on the phone to an 'executive' from T-Mobile after I had a back and forth with John's team because I complained about the *horrendous* pre-order. The process might have changed by now and maybe that so-called 'executive' was just giving me bull excrement to shut me up haha.

He wasn’t lying.

Some of us are gonna start seeing updates in about two hours as a shipment is on its way to Louisville, Ky.

That’s why some people are seeing IMEI numbers that came off the assembly line in the last 24 hours. Those phones are not in Louisville yet. I’m not arguing, just correcting misinformation passed along by people who claim to have inside connections.

Its pointless. The information is out there. Available to us all. However some of us are too lazy to properly seek out this information. Its like getting news from social media....from random idiots. Some people would rather ask a thread full of people that dont know much about irrelevant stuff.

Seriously, are you guys gonna celebrate your phones imei bday? I mean it is sort of entertaining. But there are legit informative people on here that give REAL answers and those posts get ignored in favor of speculation idiocy.

The phones aren’t in Louisville yet. That is where they be scanned. Doesn’t mean you won’t get the phone on release date but also do mean you will.
I live in Louisville, have worked at UPS, have service through T-Mobile, and I’m at a Holiday Inn Express.

The Apple Store Pre-order forum is tracking the plane number and making great analytical guesses! Lol. If they took the money out of your account. You will get a phone. I wonder how many are by the airport watching the planes land? Which is about every 3-8 minutes lol

Maybe you’ll get a freebie

Used that IMEI website and it says my phone was made today in Chengdu at the Foxconn plant. How funny.

Now there’s a thread about someone’s phone being trapped in China for 3 days. I’m done. I miss the days of the most ridiculous threads on MR being the Mac vs pc debate.

The iPhone I ordered from Apple says 845am departure from China. Looks like it's on Pace to here on time. The one I ordered from T-Mobile just days ready for UPS but is expected to deliver on the 3rd as well. I wish apple allowed early delivery for pre-orders. That would be sweet, but not happening.

For those of you that used UPS My Choice to hold your iPhone at the Customer Center, does your tracking information now show "Exception" ?

Should I not expect a launch day delivery for my X? I ordered Saturday at 2pm (PDT) and got an expected date of 11/3-11/10. I see that a lot of people with the same date have gotten charged and received notification via UPS. I still haven't been charged, My-Tmobile still states "Being Processed", and My UPS doesn't show anything coming in. Really hoping it comes on Friday!
Hey t1m1t, i remember you said you ordered yours not long from when i did. At around 3pm EST. i have received a tracking number as well as the IMEI assigned. I wonder what happened to yours :( sorry.

Hoping you get yours on time!
