Got a departure scan! 4:34 PM. I'm assuming its on flight UPS2958 coming to Sacramento (I live in the bay area).

Our phones are on the same flight. So we have to like be besties now or whatevs.

LOL!

My iPhone decided to avoid the storm here in Seattle.

You can just your own SIM card from the 6s+. I like to leave my new SIM cards around in case i need a new one or family member does.

No, the SIM cards are not pre-installed. They provide the instrument needed to change your SIM card but the card itself is not inside the phone when it arrives.
This is false I never had to put in a SIM card on any of my phones ordered from T-Mobile. Last year 7+ came with sim pre installed. All I had to do was call 611 and give them SIM card info on box and it got switched over

Isn't thins exactly how their jump program works? Sounds to me they are trying to capitalize on some fancy workding, a thing they pride themselves for specifically not doing.

I mean, it's not a scam, but it certainly sounds like rewording an already existing program to make it sound more attractive for a different subset of buyers.

I just got the notification for Arrival Scan located in... San Diego?

Ontario is 40-50 minutes from my place. San Diego is 1.5-2 hours. I'm a little confused

Seems like my phone is taking in the sights of Louisville!

But Louisville is about a 3 hour drive, so its probably being trucked up here.

It basically is a scam because iPhones hold their value better than the residual trade in they end up giving you. They know this and book additional profit this way.

Anyone’s pending charge fall off? My phone is still on track for delivery tomorrow via UPS but I just checked my bank account and my charge fell off lol

exactly.. i always sell my iphone and paying off the rest of the eip, i always have $100+ in my pocket

that’s what i’m doing with my 7+

how are you going to sell it? i was going to list on swappa but the phone has to be paid off before it can be listed

I checked over in the Apple orders thread and noticed a lot of Orange County people getting arrival scans in San Diego like me. I'm assuming most if not all Orange County phones are or have landed in San Diego, a first for me. Previous pre-orders landed in Ontario
