Mine was just delivered. The UPS guy left it at my door.
Question please I wasn't charged the down payment although it shows on my-tmobile account. There is no charge on my credit card (nothing on pending transactions either). IS that normal?

I paid full price and no charge on my credit card. It had shown up but has since disappeared. I wouldn't worry, I'm sure T-Mobile will take our money eventually !

Does anyone else have an issue where everything works, except for SMS, LTE, and other carrier-related functionality? I have full bars and the "LTE" symbol but nothing works. iMessage remains inactive as well.

I went into a store this afternoon which had limited AT&T inventory, and no T-Mo's. The staff told me that an AT&T phone would work fine on T-Mobile's network. I was unsure, plus they didn't have the SG 256 I wanted, so I declined. I'm still waiting for an SG 256 with 11/3-10 delivery. Does anyone have experience using an AT&T iPhone on T-Mobile's network?

My 7 plus was an ATT phone that was unlocked and used on Tmobile without any problems. All the phones on my Tmobile plan were either from ATT or Verizon and they all work fine

I got it at the apple store on launch day. I paid for the phone in full, and thought it was unlocked. When I put in the Tmobile sim card it said it wasnt so I got it unlocked via att (this happened about a week ago).

Yes but not much. It feel more expensive to me.

Space Gray in the house 256 GB version. The phone is small but coming from the GS8+ and the iPhone 7 Plus before that and before that the Nexus 6P, the small frame is welcome.

Sounds right. I've used T-Mo sim cards in ATT iPhones before, but that always required unlocking the phone through ATT, which of course takes 2-3 days or so. Sure would defeat the purpose of rushing to get the phone on launch day.

If the ATT phone is unlocked out of the box, it shouldn't be too much of a problem (doubt it is). When I unlocked my 7 plus it took about a day for it to get unlocked.

I've got to say I'm pretty impressed with UPS and T-Mobile right now. I ordered early morning, but not the moment it went live and had a delivery date from the 3rd to the 10, so I was banking on the 10th. Got the charge yesterday and then shipping info. Didn't leave Louisville until 11:30 last night and was in my hands by 10:00 this morning. Still playing with it and getting it all set up, but love it so far.

How much timpe passed since the charge to the shipping status?

My cc is finally charged this morning since Sun cc fraud alert issue. I had already expected no shipment today so not at home to sign. If they ship today, I guess I can't really complain since the estimated ship date has always been 11/2-3. Either way, looks like a couple more days of waiting.

At least the one I ordered from Apple is arriving today. TMobile take note:

• Apple mobile app is fully self contained and runs flawlessly. TMobile app is not much different than website so the pages load incredibly slow during the surge.
• After ordering, Apple allows change of delivery address up until preparing to ship. TMobile requires order to be canceled in order for delivery address to change.
• Apple allowed upgrade customers (similar to TMobile EIP and JOD) to get all their paperwork done before pre-order started. This allowed them to just finish the transaction just as quickly as those folks paying full price.

Remove new sim card from the phone and use current sim card. It will solve ur problem.
