Carrier T-Mobile iPhone X/8 Pre-Order and Dispatch Thread

Actually the fact that the Lte Apple watch is more or a stand alone product pushed me more towards the Note 8. But in my case I have the Apple watch 2 and don't see much difference with the 3. Also I have the Samsung Gear S 2 classic watch which I bought about a year and a half ago when I tried out the Galaxy S7. It's a pretty good watch as well, but yeah the Apple watch is my fav of the two.
 
I ordered a space gray 8+ 256GB on Wednesday and it has already shipped. I bet there is a fair amount of stock in the stores tomorrow.

I have the original apple watch series 0 so this will be a huge upgrade for me so worth the update. I had the Gear S3 Recently and loved it just didn’t function well with apple of course. I liked it because it looks more like a watch it’s bigger and it gives me that Gshock
watch feel which I am use to from my time in the Marines.

My guess is alot of people on T-Mobile with JOD. It really is low risk for us. We pay nothing upfront and can easily switch when the time comes. It would be a bit of a harder pill to swallow on the regular jump plan as I was quoted $160 upfront because of taxes and something else, I forgot what all the fees were just know I wasn't paying them. Lol. The rep over the phone kept trying to push me to buy it on Jump 2 and I told him I wouldn't because I am not about to pay half the phone off in a month when the X comes out. Best thing about iPhones is the resell value I had the iPhone 7 plus 128 GB and was able to sell it on Craigslist for $625 in just a day and a half, I can't imagine any Android phone holding that much value.

I feel bad for the people that are doing the $300 trade in promotion. $300 in my case was less than half I got for the resell value. And really it would have only been $150 if you traded it in a year.

I’m going through Apple for the gift card I rather get a wireless charger, AppleCare plus and even a fast charger for my plus then be screwed by the mobiles trade in value
 
Ordered 64gb 8+ 9/19 via Twitter JOD. Scheduled 9/25 shipping. Just received UPS delivery notice for tomorrow.

I am also on the $0 down Jump. Is this jump no longer available? Meaning we are grandfathered if so I will have to keep a close eye on Tmobile as far as verbage from
reps when I order and my account to make sure they don’t switch me.
 
If you guys can tell me what cities you’re in, I can give you a flight number to track that your phone is likely to be on

The issue is you can only get on JOD in over the phone when you start the plan. After I paid off the iPhone I told the rep in the store I wanted to buy it on JOD and she told me they didn't have JOD anymore unless you were already on it. I knew that was a lie from forums like this and oh yeah the several signs they had posted on the walls and a screen they had playing saying to get on JOD. I was on JOD but switched to regular Jump because last year I had trouble preordering the 7 Plus over the phone when it first went live. Rather than wait until they figured it out I opted to change to Jump 2 which was out before JOD so I wouldn't have to wait weeks or months for my phone. Biggest difference between JOD and Jump 2 is with Jump 2 you have to pay half the phone to Jump to the next and with JOD you can switch at any time provided a moth has past and you get 0 down.

It’s shipping Next Day Air, so you may not see movement until later this evening, depending on how far you live from Louisville. My phones never show movement until 2 or 3 AM the day of delivery since I live 4 hours away.

You’ll get it tomorrow if you’ve already been charged. Count on it!
