If anyone is trying to install the .DEB with iFile, and get a 512 error. Make sure that Cydia is closed by double tapping home, and sliding Cydia up.

There is an update on weibo that the new udpates i.e 2.1 & 2.1.1 are leaked and unstable. So stay from them. They will release updated files on their site only. So guys be patient as no point in restoring again after every update.

so if i just install the 2.0 version, then go thru ifunbox to install the new deb file, i will be good? whats all this stuff about itunes?
well with TaiG having said that the 2.1 / 2.1.1 version is unstable, you can wait. If you don't want to wait, then you need to downgrade iTunes to 12.0.1 32/64 bit to install the jailbreak via 2.0 version.

So the jailbreak download still isn't 100% good yet?

I mean there still isn't a version that just works on windows and you don't have to downgrade iTunes or install a deb file to get it to work properly yet?

I'm still JB on 8.1.2 and I'm still deviation whether or not to upgrade and eventually re-jailbreak. Is 8.3 really much faster/better on iPhone 6?

Correct. Right now it looks like downgrading iTunes is still required in order to avoid issues. In addition, the current official release doesn't provide a fix for Cydia Substrate. TaiG needs to update their jailbreak packages, not Saurik. Personally, if I were you, I would stay jailbroken on 8.1.2 until this all gets sorted out. If Apple drops iOS 8.4 to to public, however, I would immediately restore to iOS 8.3 before Apple closes the signing window.

I have 2.1.1 downloaded so I'm going to have a play with it on my iPad Air 2

I'm jailbroken on 8.1.2. I don't know if I should upgrade yet or not.
I'm on 8.1 and am travelling out of state tomorrow for a week. I'm debating on trying to upgrade or not. Don't wanna screw it up somehow before I go.

I'm on a Mac though - hopefully they put this out for Mac soon.

I'm another 8.1 user. Bit the bullet and fresh restored 8.3. iCloud restoring right now. Ready to try JB since initial bugs ironed out.
