Why didn't I think of that? (Not saying that's is or isn't the truth.)I wonder if it might simply be a knockoff of the Mac Mini. Sort of like all those knockoffs of iPods and iPhones that come mysteriously out of "the east."
It kinda does, especially if the new ACDs are glossy etc.Does it not make sense that the next Mac Mini would be released along side the Cinema Displays? Why would Apple release a new consumer level mac that did not have a webcam, or at least the option to use a webcam.
Who invited Buzz Killington to the party?

I think I didnt do anything illegal, I didnt sign any NDA or anything like that, lets say I met a guy in a subway who offered me something and I bought it....
I don't get it - not the FW/FW800 part - but putting so many USB Ports and multiple video connectors on the Mac Mini. Okay, this computer is aimed at switchers, but still - what happened to think different? I mean together with my Airport station and wireless keyboard two USB ports are actually enough.ha. I had a hunch this was real. Now you "fake" hater are looking pretty stupid with your macroblocking and color artifacts, aren't you?
Or did he make a quick 3d mock-up of a back and video that? Maybe he rendered it in Maya?
hahaha.
add this to the list of things apple would NEVER do that they've now officially done:
remove FW from the macbook.
put FW 800 in the mini
make a mini with 5 USB ports
put mini DP AND mini DVI on the same machine.
oops.
Doubt it. Nobody in that department would risk and amazing job with great benefits (with a product few people have touched, seen, or known about) to get a bunch of 40 year old Mac nerds and 15 year old non conformist mouth watering.

Stolen property is stolen property even if you bought it legally
You guys want it all. Just be happy that the news broke here and we have a fellow member willing to leak info to us. Asking Monthly to plug it in is like asking him to show his face in the video.
Hey I know, why don't Monthly bring it over to my house and we could bust open a case of cold beer and video it booting up and then pop the top and show everyone the guts.![]()
Again I worked for Apple for years. They are not only smart but wise in protecting there equipment. They know who had that potential prototype and they will track that person down, and prosecute everyone who breathed on that thing. They might even sue you for seeing itand they should.

Why not? There is FireWire 400 on a $999 MacBook when it's not on the $1599 MacBook...Firewire 800 on a $599 machine when it isn't on the $1600 MacBook.
I'm assuming from "lets say" that this isn't exactly what happened... which would be a good thing since receiving stolen goods is definitely illegal. Certainly the person you received it from did not own it, nor did they have the right to sell it, therefore if you bought it (in the subway or not) you've received stolen goods. Good luck arguing that you thought it was used when it's an unreleased product... LOL...
Finally I hope there really isn't a subway in your home town or you just made it a whole lot easier for Apple to find you.
Thanks for the leak... and good luck!
OK, I will upload short movie online and we will see![]()
If you EVER worked for Apple you'd know the difference between There and Their...
I know for a fact they don't hire illiterates off the street. I call B.S. straight in your face.
