Good to see verizon is releasing it early instead of 4 months after launch date like last year.
A German Website has alteady accidently released a Video with all informations. On the rear Side it has a 4,1 ultrapixel Cam and a 2 mp Cam for additional Effects like Focus and 3D pictures.

Yeah. I live in a nice part of the world and I'm fairly active outdoors and love taking photos of the landscape, mountains and seascapes around me. I'm not a take photos in a bar kind of snapper, so a 4mp camera just doesn't cut it.
I honestly thought HTC would have learned from all the criticisms but clearly not.

Some of my landscapes and such are used in heritage books written by my clients and I print out a few at 12 x 16 ...
Have you ever used a Nokia 1020? It appears to have the best smartphone camera on the market judging by reviews.
Selective Focus is nice, and the GS5 does that as well. The 3D feature, however, is a useless gimmick, in my opinion.

No HTC M8 for me either with those megapixel... unless samples end up looking decent enough, which I doubt...
Seriously HTC... 4 + 2 megapixels in 2014!?!??!?! My old Nokia N95 was even better than that!!
No all facts are true. On the Pictures in the Youtube Video is Fabian Nappenbach (HTC Product Director Central Europe). They recieved the One from him and the article which should go online tommorow was also available for a short time.

I have a Lumia 1520. I have been offered a 1020 but the specs other than camera concerned me. It also isn't the fastest snapper with slower saving of images and slower processing after due to the older snapdragon 400 inside.

I bought it from 'adverts.ie' which is like craigslist / swappa.
The GE is ridiculously hard to get here, seller had bought it in America whilst working over and then brought if back.
The HTC M8 would have been a sure purchase had the camera been 13mp plus. But yep the 4 & 2 just kills it for me.
Clearly then the article the other day that said it had a 16mp camera combined either got it wrong and meant 6mp (2+4) or the German leak is wrong which I doubt being so exhaustive in its 14 minute hands on video.
But yeah 4+2 is bitterly disappointing news for many of us.
The Article only says that the UltraPixel Cam has according to HTC a better Quality then 12-16 MP Cams.
