I'm using an iphone.

Yes? It works for both iPhone and iPod Touch. Do you want the controls for your iPod or for some of the music apps in the App Store? Either or, the iPhone has a built in solution for the iPod and Music Controls (Cydia) for all the major music programs you download from the App Store.

I have no problem paying these developers. I have payed for music controls, quick reply for sms, mywi, universal search. Just as i would the offical app store apps. I don't jailbreak my phone to "hack it" to get "Free stuff" I do it because i love the iPhone as it is, but i just want a few added features that i feel are needed.

if i could find a working version of stacks, that doesn't send my phone into safe mode, i would pay for that to!

I agree 100%. Yes I know you can get most of those apps for free but then the developer makes no profit off of them and stops developing/adding features :(.

About Stacks, I had it installed (erased it a couple of days ago) but it worked perfectly when I had it. What version are you installing from Cydia?

i cant remember the exact version. It was a hacked version, i WANT to pay for it though. while the stack it self worked, it kept sending my phone into safe mode every time i downloaded something else from the app store, or cydia.

could you find the version you had? I am using the newest iPhone firmware update on 3gs.

Snappy and SBSettings?

I couldn't find this anywhere.

Do Snappy and SBSettings play nice together? I only ask since they both use the status bar for access: Snappy with a "tap and hold," SBSettings with a "swipe."

I had the Stack Alpha version installed!

Yes they play nice together. Just make sure you don't have the "sensitive swipe" enabled for SBSettings. What do you mean you can't find them? You can't the apps or was it that question?

I meant that I could not find an answer to my question.
Thank you. I think I'm going to get the Snappy app.

I for one, think QuickReply is the most handy jailbreak app i have. And frankly, Apple should've had this type of messaging from the start. Replying from within any app is just awesome and easy.

It occurs to me that a lot of folks these days somehow see a difference between stealing software and stealing something physical. You wouldn't find a lot of folks who think it's alright to steal gasoline from your neighbor's car, however, some of those same folks wouldn't bat an eye about downloading a torrent of Windows Vista from the Pirate Bay...

Especially when you give them specifics including what/where. Why not add a link in your post while you're at it.

Of course everyone's list will be different, but I think iFile has to be on the list...and at or near the top. Complete file management right on the iPhone? Hells yes! I haven't used SSH in months.

I was definitely debating on putting iFile on there but I just didn't find that many people asking/needing it. I use it nearly everyday but like you said, everyone's list is different.

I agree

Some people like to reward good ideas and good development. Myself included!

These kick @$$ developers need to be rewarded for their hard work and creativity. I am down for supporting them, especially so they can create new ones. :)

Double tapping still works, so long as you;

1. Are currently playing music
2. Don't have another program set to open via doublepress of home button.

I may have to change Pro Switcher then. I have that currently set up for double clicking Home.

You can force the iPod controls pop-up to open whether you are playing music or not by installing iPodPop. It's in the BigBoss' repo in Cydia. I've been using it since the day I jailbroke, and it is wonderful.

I downloaded cydia and lock calendar cydget, and just loving it....

but is there a cydget that just shows email and calendar, nothing else, i could not find it, can anyone help?

The theme I am using in the video is called iBlack. It's a modification of The Official ModMyi Theme. I do have videos so you can know how to install it. You can start by viewing it here and then following the links in the video and sidebar. Best of luck :D

PROSwitcher is da BOMB

Without a doubt the most well implemented app in Cydia. Tonight, I back grounded my GPS, and checked the weather. How novel is that??

If you are jailbroken, and dont have Proswitcher, try it and you will not be disappointed.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I also love how it's free.
