titan clear smoke

hello,
i am currently on the fence with this case. i really am liking everything i hear about the titan clear (SMOKE) case, and it really has checked off everything off my list. but the only thing is:

does the titan clear smoke case, trap dust particles in the case?

i would imagine it would be less noticable in the smoke case, but then again i havent seen this case in person.

I believed that every case is going to trap dirt, dust and sand. Yes, smoke or
frost design is less noticeable but you still have to clean it at least once a week to avoid scratches.
 
**update**

got my incase slider case (which are now available in apple stores)

First impression: its great! fits nice and snug. Bottom comes off easily but not too easily in order to dock. Has a really nice black finish that barely shows any markup. Great feel, and doesn't add too much extra size to the device.

one problem. It doesn't fit my isonitalk monster adapter. Im going to have to drill out the headphone line out for some extra room. wish me luck.... after a few weeks of use i'll post up a final review

i saw a pic of the bottom with this case on and it looked like part of the chrome was exposed... can you confirm this?

the picture you are seeing is most likely with the bottom part slid off for docking purposes.
 
It's amazing how many iPhone / iPod Touch cases there are out there!

It really is too bad that there were only 3 available at my local Futureshop - thus my choice was super limited... There are so many gorgeous cases out there - and here I am stuck with an ugly foggy/clear case. I love the black look. :cool:

Does it have a slippery feel? I had an Agent 18 case but returned it because it was too slippery.
 
not at all, the glossy finish seems like it may be polyurethaine (sp) so it slick but still has grip

the rubber guard rail only goes around the top section and not the bottom section where it slides out.

I have used several versions of the Agent 18 and returned them all due to scratches and the separation issues.. but the new Slider Case.. I am very impressed. I love the look and the feel of it.

The Apple store near me had 15 in stock and when i was there I was lucky enough to grab one because everyone was reaching for one to buy.

Which colour did you get?

I imagine the white would look cleaner than the black, but I can't see myself holding a big white thing to my face when I'm on the phone.

That's strange they didn't put the rubber on the bottom too; you'd think that side would benefit from drop protection too.

I believe it was designed in this manner so that the bottom piece can come off easily when docking. The top portion goes on very snug which should prevent any dust or any particles from sitting between the case and the phone.

I love this case. It looks so slick.

I ended up getting the white one. I also tried on the black one and it didnt look that sharp. The white stands out and looks far better IMHO.
 
I got the white one today and I really like the look and feel of it (Slider Case). Definitely adds to the iphone.

does anyone know where to get the white incase slider case if i live in canada? Unfortunately the incase site doesnt ship to canada , also apple store canada doesn't have the item only apple store usa which of course doesn't ship to canada, I have also checked ebay with no success, any help would be appreciated.

I just ordered the white incase slider.

I've been using a black Agent 18 and it's fine, but it's been a couple of months now so time for something new =D

The white really has some nice pop to it..and if I need black I can always go back to the agent 18 eco whatever.
