I think this is the best case so far. Switcheasy Capsule for iPhone with the clip. The case goes face in on the clip and the clip has a Window so you can see who calls without removing it from the clip.

Comes with Universal dock adaptor, headphone adaptor, 3 screen covers ( but I use the PowerCrystal for now ). Seems like this case gives the best protection, wit the clip even more since the screen is protected. There are so many times I've walked down stairs or hall and accidentally banged into the railings or scraped the wall. I think this is a keeper.

This is a fine case, I really like it. A buddy of mine has it, and I ALMOST bought it with the clip, but then I discovered the Atrwizz SeeJacket Crystal. This is without a doubt my favorite case. They somehow figured out a way to make a crystal case, with a screen protector, and somehow you can still use the touchscreen. This is truly a technological wonder. I have a screen protector on my iPhone (I bought it at the Apple store), and this case, and somehow, even with two layers on top, is still easy to use. Sometimes a little bit more pressure is needed, but not much more. Simply amazing !!

I have this one, but it is going back. I like the feel of the leather, but I really want something slimmer and less "executive" looking. Its a really nice case, just not for me.

I ordered this one today:

Seido case is nice, protects the back and outer bezel very well. But I am OCD and it is just a touch loose fitting on the left side of the phone. Normal users probably would not be bothered by this, but it is certainly noticeable. I am going to keep it and would give it a 4 out of 5 star rating.

i have a black, silicone, incase that's stretched a bit...looking for a case that is similar but doesn't stretch...definitely something i can put in my pocket because i get paranoid that, with a case with a clip, it might fall out

Ok so my follow up review of the switcheasy capsule and vision clip (see post #137). I have had them both for 5 weeks now. The case is crap.
There is a huge bubbling effect between the protective overlay (really more like an insert) and the spring clip mechanism small slider button cracked in half after i kid you not no more than 10 uses. Getting in the car and caught the phone on the side of the seat while in the holster clip, and snapped the hinge pins that hold the clip piece on to the back of the holster.
50 bucks for both items and they are both broken in less than 6 weeks of use.
I ordered the Vaja Case. Should have done that from the start.

After a lot of research, I think I'm between the Contour Showcase and the ISkin Revo with belt clip holster, although neither completely fulfull my wishlist.

I ***really**** want a case that has:

1. a really protective shell because the phone will be dropped and gets a lot of abuse with my toddler. I've read that the silcone shells are the most protective, but I'm not sure this is true.

2. has a belt clip/holster option that is secure, that also serves as a video viewing stand -- this is a very important feature to me b/c my toddler watches podcasts frequently. Does anyone know if the ISkin Revo Holster can be used as a video viewing stand????

3. has some sort of hard protection for the front of the phone/screen, even if it's just turning the phone backwards in a holster

4. the ability to be taken on and off for docking without getting stretched out or ruining the phone with scuff marks

Does this exist???? Am I missing something?

Edited to ask: Any chance the Artwizz SeeJacket Crystal fits inside another case or holster? It would be great to have both the Artwizz acrylic case with the added benefit of an additional rubberized jacket/holster/leather case with a clip ... just dreaming.

I just bought a Seidio case and holster. Very nice case. Slim, simple, and easy to use. The iPhone is very secure, but easy to remove from the holster. Plus, the iPhone can face inward so the screen doesn't catch corners. Before this one, I had a Showcase case and holster by Contour. Way too tight and clumsy. The Seidio is the best case by far.

DLO Slimcase. Tight fit, very reassuring, feels like the phone and case is one. The inside is lined with felt/suede. No scratches so far.

Top Rated iphone case

I am currently using this:

iphoneleatherfolioblack1.jpg

I like it because the iphone fits snugly inside with no movement at all, and it seems like i wont fall out even if the flap is open which is important because the velco of the flap isnt the best, you have to press down to make it stay in place.
But what I really want is the Iskin Revo:

I got the hard leather iphone case from CoverCase based on its top rates from ilounge and I must say it is exactly what the review said. It has a hard body with soft napa leather on it that comes with removable belt-clip and screen protector all for $20 .... you cant beat it.

http://www.covercase.com/category.php?cid=62&pcid=36&browseby=62

I highly recommended it....

I picked up a Power Support Crystal Jacket today. It comes with the case (clear obviously) which snaps together, a holster, and the Power Support Crystal Film. The best part is the film, it rocks (and I got it on right the first time!). The case is OK. Its a bit cheap feeling, but I can live with it, because I like the way it fits into the (pretty sturdy feeling) holster.

I've been using the Powersupport Crystal Film for the screen along with the www.bestskinsever.com full body skin, but used the Crystal rather than theirs for the screen. It give total protection. Better than invisibleshield. Just the other day it was dropped on the concrete and snow getting out of my car.

Not a mark.

I bought a www.foofshop.com foofpod soft pouch when I got it but never use it. The phone goes in my pocket. I've had the phone since July with the skin on it and it looks like the day I bought it. Amazing. Don't have any need for a case with this skin.

I like this case. Can you plug it into the charger without removing it and how much of the speakers are covered?

The speakers aren't covered at all. And yes, you can plug in the dock cable while it's on. BUT the dock connector is tilted down by at most one degree.

With the DLO slimcase, is the screen protector permanently attached, or can I choose not to use it and keep my Crystal Film?

The front side is open. They included a screen film in the box, but I already had one on. So I'm saving that for later.

Anyone try the Gizmac Titan Clear Case? You can get it with or without a holster, but I'd get the holster so I'd have the option of clipping it on somewhere, plus it adds the extra protection for the face. It got a really good review, and looks really interesting. Gizmac just started making them in pink and smoke in addition to clear.

I'm thinking about trying this one out. Which color do you like ... smoke or clear?

As an aside, do acrylic cases "heat up" the iphone as much as the rubber skins? I currently have a rubber skin on my iphone and while using the phone a lot today to internet surf, the phone got very warm/hot.

Got my Seido SUPER SLIM RUBBERIZED HARD CASE FOR IPHONE yesterday and my first impressions are that it is the best case ever. Way better than that Case-Mate Signature Leather one I had before. This case definitely doesn't take away from the beauty that the iPhone is.

Check it out here:

Full phone protection (minus screen) and very slim, don't even feel it in your pocket.

I sold the flip-top case that I recently purchased because I had the opportunity to see and touch a Vaja creation.

The Vaja certainly does full design justice to match the iPhone perfectly.

My case "pictured" should arrive in about three weeks.

Very nice!

It's very similar to the Vaja case I ordered on the 7th of January. Still no sign of it yet though (34 days later)! :(

You'd better put yourself into patient mode. :D

Hope your Vaja case arrives very soon CD3660. 34 days is a hell of a long time to wait for a case like these, but I have read in other forums where people who have waited quite a while for their Vaja cases, have said after receiving them "the wait was well worth it."

As I said: I have had the opportunity to handle one of these cases, and believe me mate - they are really cool. :)

Cheers!

I was looking at this case ... but the new version, the Innocase, with the Holster.

http://www.seidioonline.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=950

I just want to know if the Holster clip can prop up the phone for video viewing. I wish more companies would include this information in their descriptions.

Can the holster's clip be positioned to prop up the phone as a "viewing stand" to view videos? Thanks!

Edited to add: I spoke to Seidio's customer service, and the holster cannot be used to prop up the IPhone -- it will lay flat. Also, you can place the IPhone face out in the holster, however it won't be as secure as when it's face in, which is the way it was designed to be held.

Thanks. I'm sure it will be worth the wait but it is very frustrating especially as I am the sort of person who normally likes 'next day delivery'. :D

I'll post when it arrives so that people have some idea as to the current production runs at Vaja.
