Today I got my Vaja iVolution case. I really love the Vaja leather and all the customizing options. I like the design of the Vaja flip top cases but I don't see myself calling with that silly flap hanging down.

So I ordered the iVolution case without the flap. Front color 'Brownie', the back and inside in dark blue.

So far I really love this case! Yes it adds considerable bulk, but that's ok for me. It's very nice to hold ant to touch (not to mention the great smell of real quality leather...)

So here are my pics:

Another SGP

Loving the SGP Ultra Thin cases. I have about 5 different colors now...:p
I tried and didn't really like the iSkin. I might use it for when I go mountain biking but it picked up a lot of dust and it was thicker than I thought it would be.
Although the SGP leaves the chrome exposed I think it's a great case, super thin but gives great protection especially in combo with a screen protector.

Sorry, but ... does that say Calf Skin? I don't think - in a million years - that I would want a dead baby cow's skin surrounding my cell phone. That is just... talk about inhumane... wow. :( Why not hire a slave to carry it around for you while you're at it?

That is such a good idea. And then I would not have to worry about it rubbing against change and such in my pocket.

Nothing wrong with calf skin. Can't beat the that leather look! I like the leather calf skin super slim cover from ikonic edge - I have the tan coloured one and haven't looked back.

So I read through this whole thread and I think I have decided on the Sena UltraSlim Pouch.

I have a few question for anyone who has it/has used it:

1. When you have a call and you slide it out, is the phone "locked" or can you accidentally answer the call before it's fully out of the pouch?

2. Can you feel it vibrate/hear it ring when it's in the pouch and in your pocket?

3. I have a Blackberry now (my 3rd one) and I've always had the BES (best skin ever) on them and used it with the pouches that came with the phone and had no issues with it, of course it was snug fit at first but nothing happened to the BSE. I've already ordered the BSE and will want to use it with this pouch. Has anyone every tried this?

This will be my very first iPhone so I'm treating it like a baby :p

You are wasting your money with the Sena ultraslim. I had one and I'll tell you their shortcomings. The lining is only glued to the outer leather. What happens is after a short time the lining starts to come apart from the leather because its only glued. It should be glued and sewn. Secondly the leather is very thin so if you drop the phone its likely you will damage it. These guys like most mass producing companies cut costs and use as little leather as they can. Thin leather equals limited protection. They state its European leather but I it would be very unlikely it is European made. Anyway its your call. All I can say is that I've owned one and that s what happend to mine and I've read about other people experiencing the same problem. The IkonicEdge is similar in design but it won't fall apart and it isn't made in China.

Ugh well back to the drawing board! I'm glad I didn't buy it yet.

Could you.. or anyone recommend a good case then? Everything I read in this thread ended up scratching the phone. Even though I'll be using a BSE on it, I would still like a case for when I have it in my bag/pocket or just walking around holding it.

My favorite case so far has still been the iGlaze by moshi. I have used a lot of different cases and that one is one of the nicest. It doesn't cover up the entire phone, so I can still see how nice the phone looks, but at the same time, the back doesn't get scratched.

For full protection when I am working outside or being very active. I have it in either the Seido Innocase, or my switcheasy rebel.

Between those 3, I manage to always have it protected enough for my likes.

Okay so I think I will lean towards the Revo2.

What are the pros and cons? Is this one of the cases that will scratch the phone? Can it be used with a BSE (best skin ever)?

Yeah, nothing wrong with draping your iPhone with the dehydrated skin of a baby cow.

Baby cow, adult cow, what's the difference?

I like Veal more than beef, so if I'm going eat the delicious meat of a baby cow why not use the skin too?

the iskin solo was really not what i expected, i got the black one and it attracted a lot of dust/particles in the camera/silence switch/adapter openings and the front screen borders. That was just my personal preference and something I had to experience in order to know whether I liked it or not, it can be different for others.

Picked up an iSkin Solo (black) for my black iPhone. Fits nicely, and along with the screen protector, it seems really protected. I've only had one other case - the Griffin Wave -- and this one is much easier to pull on and off, and less bulky. Also the Griffin would pop up the screen protector and make it bubble but this one doesn't.

If you can't see the difference there maybe you should think about sterilization.

I love the iSkin Solo FX. I have the Rebel, iFrogz Luxe, Colors, and an InCase Slider. I love the white InCase the most as far it's design. Though also felt it was a bit too bulky. The Solo is just right. Love this case.

Speck Candyshell

I received an e-mail from Speck that the white/cranberry Candyshell was back in stock so I gave it a go.

I like it a lot, but as I've heard in other reviews it is really hard to get off. Maybe it'll break in a bit over time? Other than that it's a really good, solid, protective case that still manages to keep the look of the iPhone.
I think I'm done with cases now for a bit!

So does any one know of a good belt case for the iPhone. I like to keep it on my belt while working.

there is good belt case from dealsniper.com, it is something called 'Volte' series, i just got the case on hand last week, and it looks great. I like the full protection from this design. And they have also the special series called 'Darius', it is the slim and modern one.
