cub4bearin-I took a few more pics for you. The front and back lock together and yes it is easy to take apart. I found a new detail this week when I knocked it off of my desk. As I was looking at it to see if it was damaged, I was impressed that the screen is somewhat protected by the ring, because it is slightly higher than the screen.

Surely-the hole in the back is to push the phone out. When you remove the ring, you push the back to release the phone because it fits so well that it kinda locks it into the bottom.

Now that I have had a chance to really try the case out for protection, I just bought one for my sister, I Love it!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

looks great... kinda wish they had more color choices... it will be between the red and black one..

For me the best case is:

Otterboxes are nice. I was thinking of getting one for my girlfriend, since she drops everything she owns.

My local AT&T has them in stock or you can order them from www.otterbox.com. That is the defender series.

I have also heard about people ordering from Amazon.

ATT stores want $50 for it. Got mine off of eBay for $30ish. I've dropped mine on to concrete a few times and nothing bad happened.

I do not like the screen and ear / mic hole covers though. Took out the screen protector and replaced with a Zagg shield and just removed the white ear / mic covers.

Otterbox

I too have an Otterbox...like the case...can be a bit bulky at times..I suppose it depends on where you are and what you are doing..the ultimate in protection I reckon.

I take mine out of the Otterbox if I am going out and replace it with my more-thing Noel or Hex.I particularly like the Hex..it is just soooo trippy!..The Hex offers good protection too as it is Hydrocarbon Polymer (like a rubbery plastic).
The Hex is rapidly becoming my favourite case of all time., although I always get admiring looks when I put the more-thing blue Noel on. Got them all off ebay here in the UK (fast delivery).I use an anti-glare screen protector with all of these.
I might be buying the more-thing Three-D next...that looks funky or shall I go for the Twinelite?

Decisions....I think I'm becoming a Phone case Junkie..esp if I stare at the Hex too long!..hehe

For those of you wondering about ordering a More case, I have found a new shipper and can now offer $5 shipping to Canada on all orders under 1lb (adds up to 3 cases or 1 laptop sleeve). As far as I know, I'm the only seller who will ship to Canada right now.

Only have the polymers and Noels on my site right now, but I should have the twine coming soon.

The bes case for my needs

I had a CAPSULErebel case but wanted even more protection so I was looking for a sleeve where the iphone with the case fits.

Finally I decided to do it by myself and... voilà!
Now I have a handmade sleeve where can put the headsets and cards.
And it can be done for any rigid case because it's made to measure.

For me, the best iphone case.

Wouldn't recommend a speck candyshell tbh.

I thought it looked really good when i first got it ( i got the yellow/black) However after a few months the little strip at the bottom of the iphone the thin part under the home button has snapped making it look tatty, the back scratches really easily and the rubber discolours even in jean pockets etc. Its also pretty bulky.

I need a new case now but no idea what to get.

Ah thats one of the new candy shells i see :) I'm thinking of getting the "Batman" Grey/Black one but i do need to curb my case buying just got this moshi iglaze yesterday :) loving it :D

I just ordered these into my store. GREAT cases and a nice price point.

Search hampered by rubbish piles & Apple missed an opportunity?

I would like to combine a slim Wallet 'brick' with the gizmo 'brick, or in other words house my iPhone 3GS in a minimalist Wallet.

I am inclined to follow in the footsteps of several people above, the Piel Frama Classic Magnetic Closure Case seems to be the way to go for me.
The most important aspect is 'ease of removal' so that the iPhone can be mounted 'case free' in my vehicle for use as a Sat Nav.
Perhaps some long term users would care to comment on how easy or difficult removal is?
Does prolonged use cause the case to become a sloppy fit and admit debris which may cause scratching?

Ever open to new ideas perhaps someone knows of a similar animal to this 'bull'?
All input gratefully received.

I love my Speck Candyshell

Amazing how case collecting is so addicting. Always looking for the "holy grail" or perfect case. This is my list so far (in order):

Sena Flip
Sena Ultra-Slim Pouch
Incase Slider (Black)
Incipio Feather (White)
Incipio Feather (Red)
and this week...

Speck Candyshell (white/grey)

All have been great cases, but most serve different purposes. The Pouch was great for work when I just wanted to throw my iphone in my computer back and not worry about it. The Slider was GREAT for protection, but it scratched my 3G bezel terribly. Both Feathers I still love for minimalist protection, and I will still use them when I want to go "almost-naked" and with no additional weight.

I have to say that the Speck Candyshell is now my ultimate protection case. Face down screen protection is important to me and the one thing missing on the Feathers. Two very small complaints are 1) The headphone jack hole is too small for a couple of my cables (but not all), and 2) I have couple of dock cables that are a slightly larger and that tends to bend the bottom piece of the cover below the home button. I'm not sure if over time that piece will sag or not. I hope not.

In my hand though I love how solid this case feels. It feels like I could drop it on concrete and it would be fully protected due to the rubberized interior. I hope I never have to find out, but I did drop my phone while it was wearing the red Feather case last week and I was very lucky that it didn't land on the face. Perhaps that is why I decided to not press my luck anymore and buy the Candyshell.

where can i order the incipio feather's for a good price? i want 6 different colors but refuse to pay $20.00 each case.. was thinking more along the lines of $10-$12 a case since im ordering that many

That is at cost for any reseller buying from Incipio's North American distributor, so you'll be very lucky to find this price.

whats the reseller cost the $10-$12 or the $20 figure? i see people selling the black and white ones at $15.xx but not the other colors :\

Wish you would have posted this yesterday. mygearstore had a 30% off, one day only deal yesterday on all Incipio products :(

ok i am now following them on this twitter thing.. im new to twitter.. so i dont know if i did it right but i posted in my status

@mygearstore can you re-offer the incipio discount i just found this site.

im not sure if i did it the right way because its not showing up on their twitter page.. oh i feel so new :\

I have a Voicase from www.4voi.com It has a hand strap and makes it easier to take videos and pictures now. I am not so worried about dropping it.

I am in college and want one that protects well and has good grip.

I was looking at something like the Speck Toughskin and the only thing close to that is the Oakley one.

Which one is better or are they even good at all?

I have this iPhone 3GS Case from inspire. I think it would fit the iPhone 3G as well. I bought my previous iPhone 3G case from them too. I'm currently actually thinking about just getting a sticker though. One of my friends has a sticker that covers the entire back of his iPhone and he went online to some website to submit the design himself.

I use the Incase Slider along with this cheap holster I bought off Amazon. The slider fits perfectly in there. Now I have the best of both worlds.
